Financial Analyst
*Analyzed division's (lecithin) profit and lost statement (P&L) for accounting a
ccuracy and possible expense reduction. Discovered how to reduce packaging expe
nse by $200K.
*Conducted audits on our clients (compared the income statement against the gene
ral ledger) to determine earned premiums and resolve discrepancies with present
clients and underwriting. (Discovered 6MM in revenue not being reported to B&L.)
*Performed financial reporting and conducted auditing projects, along with super
vising collectors, and making difficult management and legal decisions in pursui
ng past due receivables. (Discovered $500,000 of misapplied receivables that ha
d a direct affect on our net profit.
