Recently consulted on several medical device projects and have trained a manufac
turer's engineering staff to transition from AutoCad to Solidworks.
Design activities have involved the utilization of precision manufactured compo
nents, gearing, high precision bearings, components manufactured by turning, mil
ling and grinding and the development of injection molded and die cast parts to
be included in the complex assemblies. A complete understanding of Machine shop
processes was derived from the design process as well.

ned and installed letterpress-to-offset press conversions for double-width newsp
apers. Installed more than 150 conversion units. Was awarded several patents for
the method and apparatus for the conversion of printing presses from letterpres
s to offset.
Invented and patented the first pulse spray dampening system which was installed
as an integral part of the letterpress-to-offset press conversions. Patent late
r licensed to the Baldwin Corporation.
