2011 L500 Session : 'Creating Your Digital Vision Board w/

Lindsey and Nicholas'
May 26 (9:30AM - 10:15AM) and May 27 (9:30AM - 10:00AM)

Nicholas and I (Lindsey) are so excited to share a tool with you that
has changed our lives and that we hope will change yours. Nick and I
both have used vision boards since we were kids and can tell you first
hand that they work. We have attracted relationships, dream jobs,
financial abundance, cars and more. Vision Boards are also aligned
with the Laws of Attraction (Google This!).

At L500, we will create a Digital Vision Board (DVB) with Evernote

because 1) we are in a digital age 2) you can share your board easily
with those that support you, even when they are far away 3) you can
look at your board alongside you work, and know that your success is
on the way!

Let's Get Started:

1. Sign up for Evernote by going to link

http://lch.bz/NAACPLeadership (case sensitive).

2. Get familiar with Evernote.

For the L500 Digital Vision Board (DVB) Exercise you should be familiar with

- How to take a screenshot with Evernote

- How to drag an image into an Evernote note
- The Evernote ToolBar (see below) - The toolbar allows you to Change the Font, Font
Size, Text Color, Make the Text Bold, Italic or Underlined, Align your Text, Add Bullets,
Add a To Do Checkbox, a Graph, A Horizontal Rule (Divider), Add an attachment (you can
also just drop one in) and Add an Audio to your note.

Evernote also has tons of great features that will help you beyond your L500
experience. From

- a place to capture thoughts and notes

- a storage container that makes all of your files (Docs, PDFs, Photos, Music -
EVERYTHING!) accessible from your Desktop Computer, The Evernote Website, Your
Smartphone through the Evernote App, and Your Tablet
- a way to make your life productive through the text recognition feature. Text
recognition lets you simply throw stuff into your Evernote and worry about organizing
later. Just search for the words in your Docs, Photos and PDFs.
- The Trunk which allows you to work with the apps, programs, hardware and content that

makes using your Evernote easier. Click the to access the Trunk.

and there's so much more. Did you know that you can share your notes via
Facebook, Twitter and Email? You can also share whole Evernote Notebooks with
your friends. I know crazy right?! There's a manual!
L500 Evernote Tip#1: Use Evernote to store your L500 Business Cards! | Take a
picture of a business card either with your Evernote Smartphone App Snapshot feature or
your camera and upload to your computer and simply drop the photos into your Evernote.
Create an L500 Business Card Notebook, Tag the cards (a possible tag - L500) OR
simply Search for a name and get quick access to your L500 business cards. So easy!

3. Choose a theme for your Digital Vision Board.

This theme can be on something specific like a new car that you want or general about an
overall life plan.

4. Find pictures that correspond with your theme/

You must be very clear in your search for pictures. Even making sure to remove unwanted
backgrounds. Want a ferrari? What color? Find a picture of that red Ferrari!

5. Type some affirmations that correspond with your theme -

Optional
Evernote's ability to add text to a note comes in handy here. Under your picture will that
red Ferrari to come. 'I affirm my red Ferrari. I deserve my red Ferrari. Or something
better!'

6. Share your DVB only with like-minded people.

People mean well. Your mama may say, 'if people knew better, they'd do better.' This is
very true for the Vision Board. If your vision gets into the wrong hands, people with
different visions may not see the true purpose for your vision.

7. Look at your DVB at least once a day.

With so many cool features for your everyday life, work, school, your Vision Board
notebook in Evernote can easily be accessed. View your board at least once a day, and
focus on the objects, sayings and theme of your DVB.

8. Win an iPad! (Hunh?!)

Share your dynamic DVB during L500 for an opportunity to win an iPad!
