While at USI I was assigned to the East Hartford, CT Pratt & Whitney Facilities
& Services account. Hired first other than my direct reports, helped build a tea
m of CA's and PM's that became the highest rated and profitable for JCI.
My primary duties were to plan, design and implement Facilities and Services pro
jects. My main focus is the management of all roofing and roofing operations thr
ough out the East Hartford and Middletown campuses totaling 7.2 million square f
eet. While in this position I completed over 4 million square feet of new roof i
nstallations and repairs. This included the oversight of all project financial d
ocumentation, meet with Senior Management to secure funding, oversight of all do
cumentation requirements, the writing of and review of bid documents, award of c
ontracts and the actual oversight of the project through to completion and close
out.
In addition to the above I was also tasked with the responsibility to advise on
project safety, with Pratt's EH&S members and senior staff, especially as it is

Vice President / Operations Manager
While at Farmington Concrete Construction my primary duties were to over see all
operations including Engineering, Estimating, Purchasing, Project Management an
d Accounting Departments. Reviewing and Implementing new control procedures and
standards for each area. In addition while there we set up and started a new com
pany called CCPS (Connecticut Concrete Products and Services, LLC) whose primary
goal was the wholesale purchase and resale of concrete products and services su
ch as decretive concrete stains, stamping and etching along with an extensive fo
rm rental program. Managerial duties included:
* Perform analysis of all contract documents
* Preparing for, calling, attending and documenting action-oriented meetings
* Work closely with GC / CM and architect to ensure total client satisfaction wi
th all aspects of the construction.
* Regular project cost and budget reviews with staff including detailed preparat
ion of long term and monthly cost and billing projections
* Documentation, tracking and resolution of non-conforming construction issues.
* Provide and advise on solutions to unique design problems and difficult develo
pment problems
* Oversee and coordinate all contract work to ensure that all contractual obliga
tions are met and satisfied.
* Oversee team and assign daily activities of staff.
* Meet weekly with staff, subcontractors, to review issues and concerns, constru
ction changes and challenges, adherence to project quality control and all inspe
ction and testing procedures.
* Ensure the work performed complies with all requirements of the contract docum
ents and specifications.
* Regular review for conformance to contract parameters for all submittals, app
rovals, procurement and installation
* Daily review of all safety related issues
* Develop, implement and maintain construction schedules identifying the critica
l path including the expediting of scheduled critical materials and equipment fo
r their timely delivery to the project site.
* Consults with owners, project managers, architect to ensure that all parties i
nvolved are updated and kept current as to all aspects of the project.
* Perform supplier and sub-contractor selection with the general contractor and
or sub-contractors and vendors. This includes the preparation of bid documents,
communicating objectives, milestones and terms and conditions. Review of purcha
se agreements that meet or exceed the performance requirement and budget paramet
ers required.
