owners to meet the design vision; dealing with the other contractors one on one
, management and tenants; budgeting; maintaining a complete analysis on the prog
ress of the projects and the projections. Taking control of the Project and maki
ng sure they are properly controlled by the GC and their Subas. I also inspect a
ll projects and make sure they are built from the design intent and drawings. I
am responsible for buyouts and contracts for the projects. Responsible for overs
eeing projects as the owner, developer, and GC.

At Turnberry Isle Resort it was a 360 acre resort. I renovated 4 hotels, built 3
restaurants one being a Micheal Mina Bourbon Steak Restaurant $13 million dolla
r restaurant, we renovated spa, convention center, built 2 18 hole golf courses,
swimming pool, 4 waterfalls, water slide, a lazy river, pro shop, private locke
r rooms, golf shop, all lobbies, and walk ways around resort as well as reworkin
g the entrance with a million dollar koi Pond in the entrance.
I was also responsible for building models for the new Atlantis Hotel in the Bah
amas her in the US and in the Island at the Bahamas. This was an adventure as we
ll due to using different contractors and using different suppliers to meet desi
gneras intent while matching designs.

Responsibilities were to manage/control all aspect of projects. Worked closely w
ith all subs to assure schedule was on-time, and under-budget for the following
projects:
Flagler Station #27, Flagler Station #28, CAC medical facility and parking garag
e, Neo River Lofts a 20 story high rise, Miami Childrens Museum, Rinker Concrete
Administration facility, LAN Chile/Fine Air Eastern aUa, Sysco Foods, Preferred
Freezer, State Farm, and another four story office facility. The approximate am
ount of these projects was $280 million dollars.
a Neo River Lofts, Supervising in the construction of a 199 unit loft style cond
ominium building. We had subs and roughly 250 employees on this project. It was
the second self performance project for Codina; it was a $35 million dollar proj
ect.
a Lan Chile/Fine Air Eastern aUa Project at Miami International Airport; This pr
oject was the Construction of 3 state of the art cargo handling facilities total
ing 1 milliion square feet and a 4 story red iron and glass office building. Thi
s was an $80 million dollar project
a Miami Childrens Museum; was a kids facility with many odd designs and over loo
ks the Bay of Miami in Down town Miami. This was a $16 Million Dollar Project.

My responsibilities are to run each individual project from start to finish. Beg
inning with a flat piece of ground until the structures are built. At tilt-con w
e are just a structural contractor so solely doing structural work. I make sure
all buildingas are laid out properly starting at building corners, building foun
dations, pouring the slabs and laying out the tilt wall panels while making sure
all layouts are perfect so when we stand them the metal beams hit there pockets
perfectly. Itas like a puzzle building tilt buildings but everything has to be
precise. I did several project while with Tilt-Con, here is a list of just a fe

My Daily responsibilities included running my crew on the project in West Palm B
each; building footers, columns, and caps; setting beams, and pouring slabs. It
was my responsibility to make sure that the bridge structures were built in a ti
mely manner. I traveled 100 miles each way 6 days a week. I was offered a job wi
th Tilt-con closer to home and making better money so I decided to move on. The
project I was responsible for was a $27 million dollar project.

I started this Company in Tennessee home area: Daily responsibili
ties included bidding jobs, drafting, hiring of staff, and placing them where th
ey would be most productive. We specialized in concrete, laying blocks, framing
houses, hanging sheet rock, and all aspects of house building. We also specializ
ed in building private bridges, boat houses, and doing architectural concrete. A
s owner and employee, I put many hours in trying to have a successful company. I
feel I learned a lot on my own that gives me an edge when working for someone e
lse that allows me to know what hard work and staying ahead means to a company.
I did many types of specialty work to have an edge from cabinet building, wood s
tairs, doll house bedrooms, to hideaway closets. What ever people wanted I did.
I built the houses from the ground up from start to finish. I spent many hours d
ealing with clients, suppliers, designers, and subcontractors to come up with th
e best for everyone on every project.

I started as a Lead Carpenter, then advanced to foreman, and finally as Superint
endent. I worked forming abutments, to columns, diaphragms, and setting beams th
en pouring slabs and barrier walls. I lead and instructed the men on how to set
and remove the forms with great speed and accuracy. I made sure I ordered all ma
terials that were needed to do the project and made sure all pours and deliverie
s were scheduled. I had a crew size of 35 men working under me. The project name
:*The Project name was the Golden Glades Interchange Overpass Project this proje
ct was over $30 million dollars.
*Carpenter to Foreman September 1991 to June 1992
Brindley Construction Company Cullman, Alabama
We built two six span bridges over water with two copher dams, driving piling, a
nd sheet piling. All forming up and concrete work, and we also tied up our own s
teel. We built these bridges from the ground up to completion. It was a great ex
perience, and gave me the ability to learn and show what I could do. I left this
company due to lack of work, and the chance came to move back to Miami and I to
ok it. This was a $7 million dollar project.

L&A Construction Company Miami, Florida
We built bridges and concrete walls on I-95. This job was my first experience wi
th different cultures and languages. I was able to communicate and work well wit
h everyone. I operated cheri-pickers, cranes, track hoes, loaders, and man lifts
. This was a small project but I was willing to travel and follow the constructi
on projects no matter what I was willing to work and get the experience.

I went to school to be trained in respiratory training. I am certified to remove
asbestos and insulate pipes, while being able to work in extreme temperatures.
We worked under tremendous conditions over boilers and furnaces in paper mills.
We insulated pipes in the Paper Mill.

We built steel buildings by hanging iron and bolting it together. We also set ch
ipper equipment. I became a certified welder. I also ran the cranes, forklifts,
and man lifts. I worked very hard to become a hanger. This job had a lot of risk
but the experience was great and it aloud me to add more credentials to my resu
me.
