Special Investigations Unit 2005-2010
I am responsible for Analysis of intelligence data from various industry source
s, news media, GEICO databases and external insurance databases in both a reacti
ve and proactive process to identify, detect, and deter insurance fraud. I am re
sponsible for direct support of Field Investigators and adjusters with software
and hardware problem solving, database research and software recovery and conver
sion. I am responsible for producing reports and assessments for management whic
h are included into internal databases
I am the Administrator and responsible for development and maintenance of inter
nal databases and the regional SIU Sharepoint (website). The Sharepoint (website
) allows for faster dissemination of information to personnel and for use as a c
entralized location for forms and necessary documents.
I am highly skilled in all Microsoft Office products, and a multitude of off th
e shelf and proprietary software. I have extensive experience in network and co
mputer hardware use, implementation, trouble shooting and repair.
I have worked cases that have had both local and federal law enforcement involv
ement and I work well with various agencies.
I have developed link analysis and presentations for internal use and for prese
ntation to federal law enforcement and the NICB
I have maintained a constant schedule of education and training including but n

I also perform video and audio conversion programs from multiple different form
ats handled by external vendors, attorneys and internal proprietary programs. I
am able to convert most audio and video files including cell phone video and aud
io for playback on any computer system
I developed several training guides to teach non computer literate field person
nel how to increase their computer skills and productivity and have provided tim
ely software support via remote connection
Claims Service Representative
Direct claims handler within the call center. Received and maintained 100's of
files per month. Maintained above average rating and received top section honors
(Top Dawg) for call time, file handling, and customer interaction.
Worked with the software development team on new version of claims software
Worked as a tester on new systems and new implementations of claims related sof
tware.
As a Claims Representative level II, I also worked with the Internet team, soft
ware testing team and maintained my numbers as a CSRII and was awarded a Top Daw
g for outstanding numbers.
