G3 Media, Inc. Wilmington, NC 20012009
A company formed following the dissolution of Training Systems, Inc. (below) to
provide training on new and existing production lines in the pulp and paper indu
stry.
Founding and Managing Partner
Created the company with two other minority partners and utilized contractors as
required to design and deploy customized training for production line staff in
complex industrial operations of Georgia-Pacific, a leading global paper manufac
turer. Directly sold the firms services, which include both direct instruction a
nd online learning systems, to G-P executives at the plant and corporate levels,
working closely with line production managers and equipment vendors to develop
position-specific training modules that incorporated all knowledge and skills re
quired for each line position.
Built the company to average annual revenues of more than $1 million at the time
of the current economic downturn.
Worked with G-P training teams to design and implement Performance-based Skills
& Qualification (PSQ) an Employee Assessment, Training, and Certification proces
ses that was adopted throughout the clients Consumer Products Division.
Designed and deployed training modules on new production lines at a major G-P pl
ant, achieving successes that led to the extension of the contract to existing l
ines for a total contract value of $2.5 million for the entire plant.
Articulated a vision, strategy, and tactical training methodology to Senior G-P
executives and plant management teams that resulted in revenues of $4.2 million
from 5 major G-P facilities.

A firm that offered customized training and human performance development strate
gies to industrial clients. At peak of operations, the company had three divisio
ns in 5 offices nationwide and more than 100 employees.
Founder & CEO
Beginning as a single consultant, provided consultative performance-analysis and
defined opportunities for performance enhancement to Fortune 500 companies, eve
ntually taking on a partner and building partnerships with companies nationwide.
Built the firm from zero to more than $6 million in annual revenues in direct sa
les to C-level executives at some of Americas largest industrial firms.
Conceived, developed, and sold to a major manufacturer a Box Plant Operator Trai
ning System, a first-of-its-kind, 23-hour, CBT-CD-ROM-based course of instructio
n integrated with a Learning Management System (LMS). The project yielded gross
profits exceeding $1.7 million over three years and a 45% return on investment.

Set up and managed a separate division to sell the firms services to the pulp an

Beginning with one employee, built the division from an initial $800,000 contrac
t for one new pulp mill in Louisiana to a team of 24 generating more than $1.8 m
