SECTION 1. SUMMARY
SERVICING PRECAUTIONS
Always disconnect the power source before:
1) Removing or reinstalling any component, circuit board, module or any other instrument assembly. 2) Disconnecting or reconnecting any instrument electrical plug or other electrical connection. 3) Connecting a test substitute in parallel with an electrolytic capacitor in the instrument. CAUTION: A wrong part substitution or incorrect polarity installation of electrolytic capacitors may result in an explosion hazard.

Do not defeat any plug/socket B+ voltage interlocks with which instruments covered by
this service manual might be equipped.

Do not apply power to this instrument and or any of its electrical assemblies unless all
solid-state device heat sinks are correctly installed.

Always connect a test instruments ground lead to the instrument chassis ground before
connecting the test instrument positive lead. Always remove the test instrument ground lead last.
1) The service precautions are indicated or printed on the cabinet, chassis or components. When servicing, follow the printed or indicated service precautions and service materials. 2) The Components used in the unit have a specified conflammability and dielectric strength. When replacing any components, use components which have the same ratings. Components marked in the circuit diagram are important for safety or for the characteristics of the unit. Always replace with the exact components. 3) An insulation tube or tape is sometimes used and some components are raised above the printed writing board for safety. The internal wiring is sometimes clamped to prevent contact with heating components. Install them as they were. 4) After servicing always check that the removed screws, components and wiring have been installed correctly and that the portion around the service part has not been damaged. Further check the insulation between the blades of attachment plug and accessible conductive parts.

ESD PRECAUTIONS
Electrostatically Sensitive Devices (ESD)
Some semiconductor (solid state) devices can be damaged easily by static electricity. Such components commonly are called Electrostatically Sensitive Devices (ESD). Examples of typical ESD devices are integrated circuits and some field-effect transistors and semiconductor chip components. The following techniques should be used to help reduce the incidence of component damage caused by static electricity. 1. Immediately before handling any semiconductor component or semiconductor-equipped assembly, drain off any electrostatic charge on your body by touching a known earth ground. Alternatively, obtain and wear a commercially available discharging wrist strap device, which should be removed for potential shock reasons prior to applying power to the unit under test. 2. After removing an electrical assembly equipped with ESD devices, place the assembly on a conductive surface such as aluminum foil, to prevent electrostatic charge buildup or exposure of the assembly. 3. Use only a grounded-tip soldering iron to solder or unsolder ESD devices. 4. Use only an anti-static solder removal device. Some solder removal devices not classified as "anti-static" can generate electrical charges sufficient to damage ESD devices. 5. Do not use freon-propelled chemicals. These can generate electrical charges sufficient to damage ESD devices. 6. Do not remove a replacement ESD device from its protective package until immediately before you are ready to install it. (Most replacement ESD devices are packaged with leads electrically shorted together by conductive foam, aluminum foil or comparable conductive materials). 7. Immediately before removing the protective material from the leads of a replacement ESD device, touch the protective material to the chassis or circuit assembly into which the device will by installed. CAUTION : BE SURE NO POWER IS APPLIED TO THE CHASSIS OR CIRCUIT, AND OBSERVE ALL OTHER SAFETY PRECAUTIONS. 8. Minimize bodily motions when handing unpackaged replacement ESD devices. (Otherwise harmless motion such as the brushing together of your clothes fabric or the lifting of your foot from a carpeted floor can generate static electricity sufficient to damage an ESD device).

Calling (25 letters Phone number)

Last call and Last answered number ? - The Last call is the latest answered or received call number, and the last answered number is latest received call number on which link is established. So, if you have recently one received call on linking, the same number is called when you make a call in two ways. If you press the End key during you are dialing a call with Calling message is displayed, the screen is changed to the basic screen and the call seems to be end. But a cellular phone is still trying to dial a call and screen is changed to Talking screen when the call is connected. And the call is ended by the phone in the same situation, Calling screen is preserved. Press the End key to cancel. The reason why it is happened that Bluetooth has no changes at all until the Talking screen is displayed after a call is actually connected by pressing send key. The Calling message means the virtual status of dialing with send key.

I DESCRIPTIONS
The MC34063A/E series is a monolithic control circuit delivering the main functions for DC-DC voltage converting. The device contains an internal temperature compensated reference, comparator, duty cycle controlled oscillator with an active current limit circuit, driver and high current output switch. Output voltage is adjustable through two external resistors with a 2% reference accuracy. Employing a minimum number of external components the MC34063A/E devices series is designed for Step-Down, Step-Up and Voltage-Inverting applications.

9. TSOP348
I DESCRIPTION
The TSOP348. SI1 - series are miniaturized receivers for infrared remote control systems. PIN diode and preamplifier are assembled on lead frame, the epoxy package is designed as IR filter. The demodulated output signal can directly be decoded by a microprocessor. TSOP348. SI1 is the standard IR remote control receiver series for 3 V supply voltage, supporting all major transmission codes.

10. WM8731/WM8731L
I DESCRIPTION
The WM8731 or WM8731L (WM8731/L) are low power stereo CODECs with an integrated headphone driver. The WM8731/L is designed specifically for portable MP3 audio and speech players and recorders. The WM8731 is also ideal for MD, CD-RW machines and DAT recorders. Stereo line and mono microphone level audio inputs are provided, along with a mute function, programmable line level volume control and a bias voltage output suitable for an electret type microphone. Stereo 24-bit multi-bit sigma delta ADCs and DACs are used with oversampling digital interpolation and decimation filters. Digital audio input word lengths from 16-32 bits and sampling rates from 8kHz to 96kHz are supported. Stereo audio outputs are buffered for driving headphones from a programmable volume control, line level outputs are also provided along with anti-thump mute and power up/down circuitry. The device is controlled via a 2 or 3 wire serial interface. The interface provides access to all features including volume controls, mutes, de-emphasis and extensive power management facilities. The device is available in a small 28lead SSOP package or the smaller 28 lead quad flat leadless package (QFN).

I FEATURES
Highly Efficient Headphone Driver Audio Performance - ADC SNR 90dB (A weighted) at 3.3V, 85dB at 1.8V DAC SNR 100dB (A weighted) at 3.3V, 95dB at 1.8V Low Power - Playback only 22mW, 8mW (L Variant) - Analogue Pass Through 12mW, 3.5mW (L variant) - 1.42 3.6V Digital Supply Operation - 2.7 3.6V Analogue Supply Operation - 1.8 3.6V Analogue Supply Operation (L Variant) ADC and DAC Sampling Frequency: 8kHz 96kHz Selectable ADC High Pass Filter 2 or 3-Wire MPU Serial Control Interface Programmable Audio Data Interface Modes 2 - I S, Left, Right Justified or DSP - 16/20/24/32 bit Word Lengths - Master or Slave Clocking Mode Microphone Input and Electret Bias with Side Tone Mixer Available in 28-lead SSOP or 28-lead QFN package
