Auroras have fascinated observers for centuries but little is known about their origin

The Auroras are spectacular to watch and they are actually a manifestation of the space weather

The Sun is the source of the auroras, the auroras are the only visible evidence we have that the Sun and Earth are a system which is connected by more than just gravity and sunlight
