Jeep Capability

On-road style meets proven off-road capability. Patriot is a full blooded Jeep ready to tackle any terrain. At its heart is the innovative Freedom Drive I 4WD system which optimises on and off road driving performance at the simple flick of a switch. On road, Patriots 4WD system is optimised to improve fuel economy and maintain excellent traction. When the going gets tough, the LOCK mode works to transfer an equal amount of power to the front and rear wheels, giving you total confidence and capability over snow, mud or ice. Total Jeep control.

CVT2 with AutoStick uses a 30-mm highstrength multilayer steel drive belt and two active V-pulleys to vary vehicle speed. The result: a smooth, quiet ride thats very economical too.

High performance 2.2 litre common rail diesel technology. 161bhp with 320Nm of torque delivers effortless power.

Quiet, refined, responsive. The perfect description for this 2.4 litre petrol engine. And with 168bhp and 220Nm of torque, its performance will impress.

Total Jeep control. Freedom Drive I 4WD system is standard across the range. This includes a LOCK function that sends an equal amount of power to the front and rear for maximum traction. The perfect blend of on-road economy and off-road confidence.

True Jeep. Four-wheel independent touring-tuned suspension helps to provide a smoother on-road ride whilst improving handling and cornering.

Footwork. Go forth boldly, knowing youve got a full 201-mm between you and the nearest boulder below.

Jeep Safety & Security

Drive with confidence. One look at Patriot and you know its a Jeep. Safety and security features include Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS), Hill Start Assist and a range of sensors. These monitor the vehicle and automatically apply the brakes to the appropriate wheel, reduce engine power accordingly and maintain maximum grip whatever the driving conditions. These driver aids complement the Freedom Drive I 4WD system which is standard across the range.

Electronic Stabilit y Control ( ESC ) . Integrates a host of systems that are standard on all models and include: All-speed traction control Brake Assist system that automatically helps provide quicker braking power in emergency situations Electronic Roll Mitigation ( ERM ) that applies stategic braking to appropriate wheels and reduces engine power when sharp steering actions are detected Thatcham Categor y 1 alarm. Standard across the range ensuring your vehicle never goes anywhere without your permission.

Hill Star t Assist ( HSA ) . Standard on manual transmission models, HSA helps stop roll back on up hill gradients. Sentry Key. A unique embedded key code matched only to your vehicle helps keep your Patriot safely where it belongs. Power folding mirrors. Electric folding and heated mirrors are standard across the range.

A strong defence. Get under the skin of Patriot and youll find a strong cage structure with crumple zones designed to absorb energy during a front impact. Furthermore a high-strength crossbeam in the rear seat area helps transfer side-impact energy from one side of the vehicle to the other.

Patriot has your back, your sides and your front. The standard airbag system includes supplemental side curtain airbags for outboard occupants plus advanced multistage driver and front passenger airbags. Front seat active head restraints move forward and upward decreasing the distance between the head restraint and the occupants head in case of a rear collision to minimise the chance of injury.

Jeep Functionality
Jeep adventures are best shared with friends and Patriot easily accomodates with comfortable seating for five and ample cargo storage. Standard across the range are 60/40 split folding rear seats with recline feature for added comfort. The front-passenger seat also folds flat to act as a secure landing spot for laptops and electrical items. Further convenience features in the Patriot range include front row heated seats, six-way power adjustable driver seat and automatic temperature control throughout.

Patriot continues to ensure every journey is as comfortable and convenient as possible. The electronic vehicle information centre displays average miles per gallon, distance to empty, compass, outside temperature, a trip computer, driver alerts and many more. Other conveniences include:
Cargo lamp that doubles as a removable and rechargeable LED flashlight Sliding armrest in the full-length centre console Standard 12-volt power outlet in the centre stack for mobile phones, electronics and other small appliances

User-friendly technology at your fingertips. Uconnect is an intuitive hub for all your in-car media. Access your phone, radio, navigation system and MP3 player wherever you may roam using voice command or at the touch of a button.

Phone. Uconnect Bluetooth is an in-vehicle, voice activated communication system that allows you to talk on your phone hands-free. This clever system is also smart enough to synchronise with up to 1000 entries in your phone address book every time you get into your vehicle.

Voice Command. You can use Voice Command to select radio stations and record memos whilst keeping your eyes on the road and your hands on the wheel. This smart system technology can also be trained to better recognise your voice and can understand commands in multiple European languages.

Entertainment. Patriot is available with state of the art in car entertainment. Turn up the volume with the optional Boston Acoustics Premium Sound System which features CD, a 30Gb hard drive, USB port, iPod connectivity, 9 premium speakers, 368watt amplifier and subwoofer. All accessed through a touchscreen control. The system also allows you to watch DVDs on the screen (whilst parked).

Navigation. A turn-by-turn Satellite Navigation System featuring touchscreen and voice activated control, which can locate nearby restaurants, shopping centres, hospitals, or points of local interest. The system also provides updated traffic reports, road closures, and accident information.
