Fantastic Clothing event Friday and Saturday

As you know we have got a great half price event over today and tomorrow. Below are some key points to help you maximise trade. Press advertised in the Sun, Mirror, Mail, Star, Guardian and Metro. External promotion is key - car park banner, cyclone boards in key locations. Mezzanine stores should look for a strong ground floor impact. Unlike womens, kidswear is not the first department customers see as they are enter clothing so: - trading kidswear and advertising the event off the Clothing mat and as customers enter the store is vital. -trade full price kids stock in primary locations and reduced in secondary locations (use new additional 50% off risers to promote sell through on reduced items). - replenishing and maintaining size availability is key to driving trade.

Food awards for Tesco

We have won a number of grocer food and drink awards across a range of our own label products. You should have received some great point of sale for this week. Please ensure that you display the shelf talkers for all the products that are in your range as this will help to drive trade. We have also won a range of beer, wine and spirits awards! You will receive the point of sale tomorrow. This is a great achievement for all of our hard work across the business so please share your success with your store teams and customers. Use your point of sale brochure from last week and this week to ensure that you are displaying the correct point of sale .

Banana drama
As a reminder, from Monday, 20 June all loose bananas will be delivered into store on TPN 050502269. Systems have been amended so stores will be able to order on this new TPN. This change is necessary as we are changing the way we deliver bananas to store by removing the 70:30 yellow to green split. You will receive a range of green and yellow bananas across the delivery. This should help improve banana fixture replenishment and stream line the operations. Please note there is no change to Metro bananas.
