opportunityforareacitizenstoexercisefreespeechthrough

TeprimarygoalofTPC/DCM18istopromote
designatedaccesschannel(s)bycoordinating&providing
productionfacilities,technicalassistanceandmediatraining
toanyindividual,group,ororganizationinterestedinpro-
ducingcultural,informational,entertainment,oreducation-
almediaforthecommunity.TPC/DCM18providesChapel
Hill,Durham,Carrboroandthesurroundingarearesidents,
organizations,agenciesandinstitutionswithmediatraining,
equipment,productionandrelatedservicesonafrst-come,
frst-served,FirstAmendmentbasis.
Ourpoliciesaredesignedtoensuremaximum
convenience&fairnessforallinthecommunity.Sincewe
wantpublicaccessandourmediafacilitiestobeavailableto
everyone,wewelcomeyoursuggestionsonhowtoimprove
thesepolicies.Allsuggestionsreceivedwillbereviewedby
theBoardofDirectors.

certifcations.Ourcourseshaveaonetimefeeinorder
tocoverthecostoftheinstructorstime.Wewillnotturn
anyoneawayduetoeconomicreasons.Ifyoucantpayfora

TeSweatEquityprogramallowsmemberstovolunteer
theirtimeforTPC/DCM18insteadofpayingforacourse
orfee.Ifamemberwishestovolunteerratherthanpaypart,
orallofthefee,theymustmeettheircommittedhours
beforetakingthecourse.Ifonlysubmittingcontentfor
cablecast,theymustmeettheircommittedhoursorpaythe
membershipfeebeforesubmittingprogramming.Anyofour
