You can live with just these skills but you will not be the best Divine Priest possible. The best heal combos possible will be explained later. Primary Priest: Wave Armor +35 Bone Chill +30 Heal +Max* Grace of Life +Max Amplified Attack +Max Faith +Max Priest Secondary: Regenerate +35 Knight Secondary: Enhanced Armor +Max Defense Technique +Max Resilience +Max Devotion +Max *Leveling from 1-30 is much different from 31-50. From level 1-30 instead of investing TP into Heal invest your TP into Instant Heal. It is much more useful for the low levels plus if you get your 20/20 Elite it will actually be used. At level 30 you get a TP reset out of your magic bag, this will be used and you will not re-invest in Instant Heal you will level Heal. Why I am not a huge fan of Moisture... It is only placed on one person, always designated tank. You often keep them topped off anyway and the hurt really comes when a dps pulls aggro or the team is AoE'd. This won't help much there but it's really a preference. Once 50 I recommend it purely to soften the mana impact though it will only be slight. III. Leveling Guide This is by no means an in depth guide, it's actually more like a do your quests and do these dailies now kind of guide. It has some decent information. Leveling a P/K is quite simple. Excruciatingly boring at times but very consistent and quite easy in the 40's. The worst levels for priests are the 30's. One runs out of quests and you aren't strong enough to solo multiple mobs in the DDC (well maybe) Once you hit 40-ish you will be getting so much TP you can max at least 4 skills at all times your main group stuff, I'm talking Grace of Life, Amp, Heal, and Faith. In all seriousness end-game players will not WILL NOT look to priests for any sort of damage. If you are whacking the boss your group will think you are nooby because most bosses have AoE's that will strip most of your health and someone will most likely die. I have only ever had one person die on me in Mystic Altar and it was the teleporter boss. He got EVERYONE next to him, AoE'd, then feared us for 10 seconds. luckily I got my 10 minute off with only one death. Stay away from bosses!!! You don't want to be feared!!!!

Equips: Cloth Armor, Shield, Bludgeon. Magical Attack does not increase healing by any amount. It is utterly useless for Divine Priests. Strive for Wisdom and Stamina on your armor. The Very Beginning 1-15 Resist the urge to invest TP into Rising Tide. Enough said. Just don't do it. It is very basic to hit level 10 and once you get Bone Chill things will go extremely fast early on. Often you can Bone Chill many mobs at once and run around while they die in your wake of terror. This is the best way to hit 10. Now once you hit 10 travel north to Varanas with at least the quests talk to Class Instructor, and meet with the Guard outside of town. Do not turn these quests in on your Priest. Pick Knight as your secondary by talking to the Knight instructor in teh class hall and then turn in the quests. You will be around level 3. Switch back to Priest and make sure to the the Rusty Weapons quest from the man outside town. Switch to Knight for all of the experience in this quest chain. You should level from this. After this accept any quests possible in Silverspring or head South back to Howling mountains and finish the quests there. Level your priest this time, hopefully to 11 or 12. Head then back up to Silverspring and begin to do any quest you can there. Now you probably should do your first 10 dailies. Go to the Varanas bulletin board. Located in Varanas West or the Caravan by the Mine. Search for the highest exp daily possible and accepts it. Now multiply the item needed by 10 and get to farming for them! This is the average daily. Get a certain ammount of items and turn them in somewhere. Level your priest with these dailies and continue to obtain more and more quests. Just do quests until level 16. My special 7-10 trick! Travel to the resurrection point outside Varanas even if you are around level 7 it's ok. I do not recommend below that or else it will be much to hard to damage the boars. Begin fighting one of the yellow named boars there, don't worry about any death penalty, it does not start until level 10. Just unload all attacks possible on it and if it kills you that is ok. Click the resurrect button as quickly as possible. You should come back to life without the boar's life going back to 100% Keep unloading on the boar until it dies. This will give you relatively good experience for your level and it's a good way to get both classes to 10 quickly! Still Quite Early 16-30 By now you should have all the quests for the Silverspring set available and you should complete them. This will be useful until you get the Bloody Gallery set and that can last you for quite a long time. (mine lasted me until my early 40's) In these levels you will still be leveling your secondary quite a bit. You won't get your Secondary to 30 until level 35 anyway. Get to level 6 on your secondary with any quests possible or grinding if you must and then begin to collect Bat Saliva. You need 90 of these and they drop from the bats outside the Forsaken Abbey. 90 will give you 10 dailies worth 900 exp each. They are level 16 dailies therefore one must be level 14 to recieve the quest and level 6 to turn in it in. Level your secondary to at level level 12 off of these dailies, or the Ancient Stone Slabs. Once level 12 continue to level your priest side off of quests. You will have a steady stream of quests until your mid 30's. Once level 18 you can turn in Ant Eater Scales in Silverfall for 2200 exp each Daily. This is the best possible daily until level 26 in which you can do bear claws. Once level 25 you are ready to do Abbey, Bloody Gallery and the Ancalon quests. Until then you should save these quests in your quest log. These quests will give you an amazing set of armor that can last you for quite awhile if you aren't willing or able to update your armor. Level your secondary up to 18 off the Ant Eater Dailies then continue on with your dailies up to level 26. Farm Sharpclaw Bears and Shaggy Bears for their claws. You need 50 of each. Watch out for Borrofar!!! At such a low level you will get hit and it will be hard. Once you hit level 28 you ought to start collecting for your first 15 item daily. Antlers! Kill lots and lots of Khandor Reindeer and if you don't hit level 29 from farming 150 Antlers, attempt to do some quests. Once 29 you can turn in 10 dailies in Ystra Highlands for over 6k each. By level 30 you should have a few items that you really shouldn't miss. The Vahtos' Apprentice lines give a set of jewelry that is worth a ton. you should have 3 pieces from Crafty Bernok, Crazy Kiosade, and Joblid. When you get the Earrings attempt to + them to at least +1 each. You will get much more health for it. Continue to do Antlers up until level 31 at which point you can do the Fed-Ex daily!

The Middle Levels 31-40 At level 30 you will get a reskill which I recommend you use and change Instant Heal to Heal. Your Attack skills are most important currently. Get Amp Attack and Bone Chill both up to 30! Then Regen! Then Heal! Then Wave Armor! Don't worry if you lack the TP it gets much easier later on. Continue to do dailies and quests every day! Level your secondary to 21 off of Bear Claws, 23 off Reindeer, then level your Priest.

The minute you can start doing Ferrets ask for Ferret Groups in Ystra Highlands. Then advance your secondary to 10 levels below the turn in for Ferrets. Off of Ferrets get your secondary to level 30 and continue to level to 40. These are the boring levels.... Just Ferrets and quests whenever you can. You can't begin Necropolis of Mirrors until 35 because of other players expectations. Once you have all your Elite's though you will the the epitome of Divine Priest's. The 3/30 Elite should stay on at all times for it does not effect Bone Chill's damage yet it reduces every single spell's mana cost. Keep up the drag to level 40 where the game will get quite fun. (I'm talking Mystic Altar, DDC, and almost Cyclops) Right as you hit 40 you get Dailies in the DDC!!!! Do not buy the Harpy Claws and attempt that daily! I know its the highest experience daily but it is uselss, the turn in is far away and by some level 50 mobs! you will die on the way to turn it in. Get Cactus stuff or scorpion stingers. These are worth 25k ea and will get you to 41 easily. The Early 40's 41-42 Do whatever quests possible in Ystra, finish the Epic up to Hawk Cliffs and try to find that damn Scorpian Blackie (you won't ever find him!!! I still haven't) Do anything and everything in your power to hit that magic level 43! The Becoming Levels 43-50 You officially aren't a newb, hopefully you aren't a noob, you should have some good gear, some amazing heals, and you should be instancing with fun people whenever you can. Once you hit 45 you can call yourself a high level! No less than that! Just finish up your Epic, finish all the quests possible (besides blackie! honestly where is the scorpian?) At 43 you begin your Ant Dailies. In DDC you often just yell in Local, Ant Party please, or something along those lines and you are invited to a raid that is killing ants just outside of Obsidian. Just do your quests and do your dailies every single day and you should be level 50 in around a week. Or if you are lazy 2 weeks. Alternative Secondary Leveling 1-30 When playing on your main you can travel to Sacilia Steppes and Dragonfang Ridge. There are quite a few quests up there for your main to pick up and finish then turn in on your secondary. I personally do not recommend killing mobs on your K side. This is inefficient and will require another set of armor and another weapon. It is more expensive and time consuming than it would be to grind dailies or quests however I do agree that questing in the Steppes or Dragonfang is a great option for your Knight. IV. Group/Healing Guide Get PBinfo! This is the first line of Healing Guide! It's IMPORTANT!!! All I can say about healing is that you must be quick with your hands and your mind. You must know what combo's to use when and you must get good at predicting the bosses actions. This is a learning class, not just a class where you target the boss and whack it. Keep your party buffed and healed and they won't think much of it. Be ready for the flame though. If a party member dies (and they aren't polite) they will blame you for all of the teams problems considering none of the complications that occur from the battle. However, if you follow basic principles of healing, use the combos, and add your own flare you will rarely ever have a dead party member even in the hardest of dungeons. The Tactics: A common situation that occurs ran through from beginning to finish. Before the boss target the one person that will be getting the aggro. Place a Wave Armor on them and a Moisture if you care to. (I personally never do, I would forget about it mid-battle anyway) Make sure, make sure, make sure the dps grab any adds that spawn from the boss at intervals throughout the battle! They will spawn and attack you for healing! Sometimes these enemies can fear, sometimes they can silence, sometimes they drain mana, they are dangerous to you! If you are oblivious to the meaning of adds, they are monsters that spawn because of certain circumstances having to do with the boss. An example is the ghosts that Ancalon spawn's every 25% to Heal itself. If the tank does his job and the dps does his correctly the tank will constantly have aggro. If an AoE occurs stay calm. Focus on whoever has aggro first. Heal them to full then use the Regen => Switch or the Last Prayer => Group Heal combo. If you focus on whoever has aggro, and you keep the rest of the party at full at all times, you will succeed in your job and the boss will fall.

Don't get me wrong healing is a tad more complicated than that. Every so often some unexpected things occur and your healing and mana will be strained. Keep your cool and focus on the tank first then the lowest health. Make sure to get regens on everyone before you start any heals with casting times. It will spread the heals much better. There is no way that I can explain the possibilities of what can occur but almost anything can especially in the high-end dungeons. The Combos: What I mean are the Healing combos of your spells. These are by no means special and are usually figured out instinctively but just in case anyone doesn't know them here they are. Regen => Heal NOT Heal => Regen This is because Regen is instant and Heal is not. Basically you get more healing in the same amount of time. Wave Armor => Regen => Heal (if needed) One of my favorite combos for someone who doesn't need multiple thousands of health but could use the small healing. Wave armor protects against more attacks and the Regen patches them up. Late game if a player gets down to 1k health this combo is definitely useful with the Heal at the end. Always Wave armor first!!! It's instant and is Like a 900 health buff that can't be healed back. This is also your self healing combo, if you are in a lot of trouble you can add Holy Aura to the beginning of this combo. Regen => Switch Target => Regen => Switch Target => Regen => Continue as needed... Useful without Group Heal when you can't spare the TP for it. To quickly switch targets click on their party portrait not the player themselves!!! I cannot stress this enough. I have died because of healers not clicking on the portrait but searching for me on the field. It doesn't make much sense! Now that I have told you I expect to never see another P/K do this again... Ever! Last Prayer => Group Heal If you have a Last Prayer saved already.Group Heal => Last Prayer => Group Heal Extremely useful for times when your party is heavily AoE'd or you are silenced or feared for a long period of time. This combo saves multiple lives and is a good substitute for your OH $#!T skill (Soul Source) if you already used it. With level 50 Group Heal, level 50 Faith, and Divine Incarnation, a double Group Heal will often fully heal most members of the party. That is the dps that were not targeted in the first place. Heal...cancel => Heal...cancel => Heal...cancel => Heal Not exactly a combo of multiple skills but a useful tactic anyway. Start a heal on the main tank and cancel it at about three fourths of the cast bar. If you repeat this tactic you can often catch a surprise spike quickly and save a life or two. Especially if a surprise AoE occurs you may not have to resort to Last Prayer and Group Heal as Last Prayer has a 2 minute cd it can only occur every two minutes. Holy Candle => wait for it => wait for it => wait for it => You died! Quite a useful combo in fact! This type of death does not incur any Death Penalty and can teleport you about the areas if your Hearth is cooling down. This still increases equipment repair costs however and should only be done when you are stuck somewhere and don't want to wait for your Hearth. V. Misc. Tips and Tricks Have around 200 mana pots in your inventory for new instances. You never know how many you will use. Always carry mana pots, always! Learn the Arcane Transmutor! Do the best dailies possible EVERYDAY, all 10, all the time. Level your heals first. It is your main reason of existence.... Instance, it's fun, it gets your mind off leveling and you are useful. Stay positive it isn't your fault that a bad charge nails the entire team, you can only do so much healing at once. If you need a change of pace you are always allowed to roll a dps class. I in fact encourage it. It's nice to change it up every once in awhile. (not reccomended before level 31 unless you are willing to still farm dailies for your Priest) Party with an S/P and remind them to use their Mana Arrow on your in times of need. Stick with it, the game gets better and better. Stamina and Wisdom is all you will ever need. Stam - a dead priest can't heal. nuff said Wisdom - a priest with no mana might as well be dead (see above) Intel - caster priest. affects Rising Tide and Streaming Light
