We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic tester, willing to do whatever it takes to ship high quality software on time. The primary responsibilities include designing end-to-end test cases, developing test automation, running test cases, reporting concise test results, identifying and defending defects in triage, driving them to closure, to cover the functionality, performance, reliability and other critical aspects of quality gates. Other responsibilities include ensuring rapid automated verification of new features and test holes, integrating it with the test framework, maintaining existing regression suites/test libraries and verifying fixes. Adopting creative test techniques, to balance between the needs of agile development and right coverage to keep the testing on schedule will be appreciated. Apart from these, you will have opportunities to learn and impact the design of the next generation distributed cache, through functional/design spec reviews and code reviews. Also the responsibilities have scope to work with other groups doing exciting work in spaces like CLR, WCF. Qualified candidates are expected to have strong analytical and problem solving skills. Need to have 2+ years of software development and/or test experience with proficiency in producing efficient and maintainable code (C#). Need to have innovative insights into automating tests end to end. Good troubleshooting/debugging skills are must. Need to have good cross discipline and cross group collaboration skills.

Participates in the delivery of complex solution as technical individual contributor or as a team member under coaching/guidance of senior team members. Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle methodology Ability to understand and analyze issues and uses judgment to make decisions. Strong problem solving & troubleshooting skills Strong communication skills Technical design, development and implementation decisions on the use of technology in area(s) of specialization. Ability to read, interpret and/or develop Technical specifications, diagrams and database schema Validate code on customers system and educate customers team on applying the code. Work with Leads to map solution and technical information to customers context. Work with Leads on areas of local prototype, or proof of concept, to test solution. Write or modify programming code to suit customers needs. Unit test to assure meets requirements, including integration test as needed. Responsible for self-development according to professional development plan Other Reports to Engagement Manager Consultants are expected to have deep technical expertise in one or more of the following areas: Areas of Expertise .NET Tools and Technologies - experience of leveraging the same and designing, implementing and deploying Line of Business Applications.

Databases: Database skills for SQL Server Development and/or SQL Reporting services Educational Qualification: Must have a degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience. Higher relevant education preferred. Highly proficient & solid Customer facing Project experience involving solution design, project envisioning, planning, development and deployment in one of the areas mentioned in Section II Must have a proven record of delivering technical solutions At least 3-7 years of related technology experience Having a MCSD/MCSE//MCAD/PMP certification is a plus
