A 9-bus IEEE system was considered for reactive power compensation. Carried out load flow analysis and short circuit analysis at different loads of the system using NR method in ETAP. This obtains total scenery of the active and reactive power flow in different line at the steady state condition as well as in transient condition. Interlocking for the system has been developed using an electromagnet, which operates on the principle of Faraday's Law of Induction.
