NEXUS SECONDARY SCHOLARSHIP 2011/12 The Nexus International School, Putrajaya (NISP) Secondary Scholarship Programme offers a full

scholarship to Malaysian learners who are keen to enrol in the school in Year 8 (UPSR students) and Year 10 (PMR students), leading to the IGCSE (International General Certificate of Education) and GCSE (General Certificate of Education) examinations. The scholarship also includes full boarding at the brand new Nexus Boarding House for candidates who want to live far away from home. The scholarship awards are based on the strength of the learners academic performance, co-curriculum involvement, communication skills and financial situation. Applicants are required to submit the following information: 1. Application form Please fill up this application form completely. 2. Financial statement Parents/guardians should complete the financial statement with information from the most recent federal tax return and enclose a copy of that tax return (e.g. The latest BE Form from the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia). This information is confidential and is used solely to determine the financial need. 3. School certificates A copy of either your UPSR/PMR forecast results or the latest Standard 6/Form 3 school exam results (if applicant has yet to receive his/her UPSR/PMR forecast results) together with school certificates and Standard 5 & 6 or Form 2 & 3 reports must be included with the application form. 4. Personal essay statement In Section D, please write a brief essay (approximately 300 words) based on the following topic. This must be submitted along with your completed application. E) ASSESSMENT EXAMINATION Shortlisted candidates will be required to sit for an assessment examination on English, Mathematics and Science.
