Mattot Tribes 2011

Every time we look at the Torah, there are two things to keep in mind: 1) The Torah has more than one level (there is always something more than just meets the eye) 2) It is written for the generation in the end days the end is declared from the beginning! This Torah portion Mattot Tribes, covering Numbers 30:1 32:42 is just as pertinent for us as believers as it was for Israel when they first lived out these events. From the surface, it seems like mundane rules concerning vows, but what we have sorely misunderstood (especially in our western culture) is that Yahweh has bound Himself to work through covenants. This passage helps to lay the legal groundwork of why we can be forgiven and redeemed, even though Adam & Eve ate of the wrong tree! Numbers 30:1 Tribes: Strongs #4294 matteh staff, branch, tribe Cognates of this word are: #4295 mattah downwards; #4296 mittah couch, bed; & #4297 mutteh a perversion, that which is perverted or warped *This passage deals with something that came down bringing perversion to the bed! = womb, mem is the 13th letter in alphabetical order (13 = bride), formed by the vav (6) and the kaf (20) = 26, the value of Yahweh the womb of the bride of Yah! The tribes of Israel were chosen to house the seed of Yahweh (His Word) and acted as this womb. (2 Timothy 2:21 He shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, and meet for the masters use) = serpent/snake, numerical value of 9 (9 months of pregnancy) builds upon the mem representing the womb, now the womb is pregnant! It looks like an upside down mem, symbolizing a perverted womb; sages teach that there are 9 vessels which contract impurity (metal, wood, skin, bone, cloth, sack, pottery, nitrium, and glass). Being an inverted letter it suggests something hidden within. = feminine ending symbolic of something being made fruitful and able to conceive, knowledge, to reveal/revelation, behold revealing that which has been hidden (.) Our view is expanded of how the bed became perverted now! The womb of the bride became perverted when impregnated with the seed of the serpent (reference back to the events of the Garden of Eden when Eve was deceived by the serpent)! It caused the Bride to become an impure vessel, and even 1

though she attempted to hide (Genesis 3:8) its revealed. This knowledge is revealed to us so the unfit vessel (the Bride) can be made fruitful again! *Notice this is revealed (in order to be dealt with) directly before Israel is commanded to war against the Midianites (Numbers 31). Midian: Strongs #4080 Midyan strife; from #1777 diyn to judge; place of judgment Just as Yahweh reveals this before Israel enters into a place of judgment, so today He is revealing this same thing again preparing His people to enter into the coming judgment! This perversion is connected to a vow being made by the Bride rules of the vows are spoken of in this parshah! Numbers 30:6 8 Bound: Strongs #631 acar to tie, bind, imprison; gematria = 261, same as #2032 herown conception, pregnancy *This word is used in Genesis 3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception (herown); in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; Sorrow: Strongs #6089 etseb 1 )pain, hurt, toil, sorrow, labor, hardship 2) vessel, object, creation Ties these two events together! The Bride binds her soul/imprisons herself when she conceives the serpents seed making her an unfit vessel! Our redemption now hinges on vs. 8 which specifically states that she can be forgiven of this vow! Numbers 30:8 But if her husband disallowed her on the day that he heard [it]; then he shall make her vow which she vowed, and that which she uttered with her lips, wherewith she bound her soul, of none effect: and Yahweh shall forgive her. None effect: Strongs #6565 parar to break, frustrate, split, or divide Psalm 146:7 Yahweh looseth the prisoners (acar) Looseth: Strongs #5425 nathar to start up, tremble, shake, spring up, to loose, undo, be free = Seed/Word & = root of Torah! She is set free by the Seed of Torah the Torah made flesh that became a seed planted in the earth the Messiah! Matthew 27:51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; Quake: Strongs #4579 (Greek) seio to shake, to agitate, cause to tremble *Just like the meaning for looseth to tremble! Rent: Strongs #4977 schizo to cleave, rend, to divide *Just like the meaning for none effect! She is able to be set free and forgiven because the foundation was laid in the 2

Torah allowing her to be removed from this vow! This is the 42nd Torah portion of the year. Why is this significant? o There are 42 generations from Abraham to Yahshua (Matthew 1:17, 14 X 3 = 42) when He would come to be planted in the earth o There are also 42 months that the anti-messiah reigns on the earth during the great tribulation (Revelation 11:2, 13:5) This passage on the vows now becomes a blaring warning to the Bride who is going to be given the chance to enter into a vow again that will cause her womb to be perverted!

Judah & Tamar

To fully understand how the enemy would attempt to pervert the womb of the Bride, lets look at the first reference of the root of the name of this Torah Portion matteh! Genesis 38:18 a pledge in the form of a matteh/staff is given to Tamar to understand whats going on, heres a summary: Tamar was married to Judahs son Er (who was evil and YHVH killed). They have no children, so Judahs second son Onan is supposed to be the kinsman redeemer, but instead spills his seed on the ground and is killed by Yahweh as well. Finally in the role of events, Judah ends up being the kinsman redeemer and Tamar gives birth to twins: Perez & Zerah. Tamar: Strongs #8559 Tamar palm tree; prefix = you will, she will, they will & = mar rebellion, bitterness; Tamar is a shadow picture of the Bride, her name now becomes a prophetical statement and also a revelation of our past! She will/you will be rebellious and face the bitter waters. *Her name also gives hope as well though! Palm trees (tamar) were located at Elim, where Israel is led after having faced the bitter waters of marah, which are made sweet when a stick (hmmstaff/matteh?) is thrown in! (Exodus 15) *We need the staff if we are to survive the bitter waters!! In a short aside, Aarons rod (matteh) was an almond rod Aaron was the High Priest, the one responsible for administering the bitter waters. Why is it significant that he have an almond rod? The first time a vow is made is by Jacob (Genesis 28) at a place called Luz: Strongs #3870 Luwz almond tree; at this location Jacob has the dream of the ladder from Heaven to Earth DNA helix! The almond staff of Aaron was a reminder of the DNA of Yahweh that was being restored via the Messiah as the High Priest! Thats why His bride can survive the bitter waters!

Er: Strongs #6147 Er awake, watcher; related to #5783 uwr to be exposed, to be bared, be laid bare, to be naked Spelled with the same letters as #5785 owr skin, hide (what Adam & Eve are clothed with) & #5786 avar to blind, make blind, put out the eyes of *Watcher is a term applied to the fallen angelic beings that came in unto the daughters of men (Genesis 6). This fills out how the womb of the bride became perverted and what vow she would need to be forgiven of! The vow that caused her to need a clothing of skins the vow made with the serpent! Next comes Onan: Genesis 38:9 And Onan knew that the seed should not be his; and it came to pass, when he went in unto his brother's wife, that he spilled [it] on the ground, lest that he should give seed to his brother. Onan: Strongs #209 Ownan strong; from the root #202 own vigor, generative power, manhood

Spilled: Strongs #7843 shachath to destroy, corrupt, go to ruin, decay Its the same word used in Genesis 6:11 The earth also was corrupt (shachath) before Yah, and the earth was filled with violence. Its continuing the same thread started with the name Er the watchers would use their generative power to destroy and corrupt the earth! The same plan used from the beginning is still in effect, which is why it is so important for us as the Bride to understand this passage. Tamar specifically requests certain things as a pledge. The staff symbolizing what would make the waters sweet for her to drink; Signet: Strongs #2368 chowtham seal, signet, signet ring; from #2856 chatham to seal, seal up, affix a seal. Bracelets: Strongs #6616 pathiyl cord, thread *Both of these are terms used to describe the breastplate of the High Priest! The stones were engraved (chowtham) and it was attached to the ephod with blue lace (pathiyl). Breastplate: Strongs #2833 choshen breastplate, referred to as the breastplate of judgment (Exodus 28:15) Gematria = 358, same as Messiah (Mashiyach) and the same as nachash serpent! Pledge: Strongs #6162 arabown pledge, security; has the same 3 letter root as #6151 arab to mix, to mingle (used to describe the mixing of the watchers with mankind in Daniel 2:43). The suffix means to diminish! 4

Tamar (representing the adulterous bride) is given the staff that makes the bitter waters sweet, representing the Messiah who came to diminish the mixing with the serpents seed in other words to repair the DNA of His bride! During the time of judgment (in the end days) when the mixing begins again, for those that understand this Covenant, they are sealed up from the serpent! Finally we come to the twins! Genesis 38:28-30 Pharez: Strongs #6557 Perets breach; from #6556 perets breach, gap, bursting forth, rupture, invasion, dispersion *Its through Pharez that the Messiah is descended! And the prophetical statement is said of him this breach be upon thee its a prophetical statement of the Messiah! What breach would be upon Him? The curse that the rebellious bride incurred when the seed of the serpent invaded/breached her womb! *Ties in with the vows because only the husband had the right to make his wifes vows of none effect to break or split; similar to the meaning of Pharez from whom the Messiah would come making the Brides vows with the watchers of none effect! Zarah: Strongs #2226 Zerach rising; from #2224 zarach to rise, come forth, break out, arise, rise up, shine *Connected to the word zera seed Zarah has a scarlet thread bound upon his hand. Bound: Strongs #7194 qashar to bind, tie together, league together, conspire This same word is used in Job 38:31 Canst thou bind (qashar) the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion? The Pleiades is a constellation consisting of 7 stars found in the house of Taurus the bull, specifically in the upper shoulder of the bull. This constellation has often been associated by the ancients with Noah and the judgment of the flood! In fact, the astronomical symbol for Taurus is explained by hieroglyphic authorities as a single boat on the surface of the earth! Thus relating Taurus to the outpouring of Yahwehs judgment in the great flood of Noahs time. It is also interesting to note that as Taurus rises in the sky, Scorpio (representing the serpent) sinks out of view! Tying this constellation serves 2 purposes: 1) It represents the Messiah who would break off this vow that imprisons the Bride, causing the serpent to slink from view

2) The bull is associated with the tribe of Joseph, and within the tribe of Josephs inheritance was a city named Shechem, which means shoulder. It connects us to the tribe of Joseph, whose been dispersed but at the end (in days like the days of Noah) would be re-gathered. Zephaniah 3:9 For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of Yahweh, to serve him with one consent (shechem). *Its the restoration of the Hebrew language to the tribe of Joseph that will be instrumental in defeating the serpents seed as well! This is really significant because it is the mother of Joseph, Rachel that steals the house gods of her father Laban. So it is Josephs descendants that must deal with this seed passed onto them! When this happens, it represents a bride who understands her covenant and what vow has been broken off of her in order for her to be redeemed! *Notice its 7 stars Mary Magdalene has 7 devils cast out of her (Mark 16:9, Luke 8:2), these demonic forces representing the serpents seed within the bride (Mary in Hebrew = Miriam/Mar Yam, bitter waters). She is later seen anointing Messiah with spikenard (Mark 14:3, John 12:3). Spikenard: Strongs #5373 nerd spikenard, nard *Its spelled with the same letters as the word vow! Vow: Strongs #5088 neder vow
