INTRODUCTION
The Cowbell Flavoured Milk Lagos iTRY Rugby Coaching Cluster was officially launched on Wednesday 13th October 2010. At present the programme involves 30 Lagos secondary schools and our 10 coaches plus two coordinators coach over 1000 children on a weekly basis. At present the programme only focuses on 11-12 year olds (year one pupils) but in each subsequent year an additional year group will be included.

iTRY SQUAD COACHES

Ten iTRY Squad Coaches and two Programme Coordinators were selected from 21 coaches who participated in a 15 (10 week) stage preparatory training course. At present each coach is training an average of 100 pupils a week in three Lagos secondary Schools. Our coordinators, Maalik Ahmed and Akinlabi Clement monitor the coaches by making visits to coaching sessions and by reviewing and assessing coaches weekly session plans and reports; they are in turn monitored by our youth development team. The coaches have all been equipped with laptops and are about to embark on 6 month html course, this will empower them with new skills so that they can supplement the wages they earn as coaches, it will also enable them to update the school rugby team websites with participants content.
