Red Hat enteRpRise ViRtualization:

Pricing Quickguide for servers and desktoPs

red Hat enterPrise virtualization subscriPtion models Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization subscriptions are based on the number of managed sockets for hypervisor hosts for server virtualization and on the number of concurrent desktops for desktop virtualization, providing customers with a straightforward model for ordering, deployment, and capacity planning. Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization for Servers subscriptions are required for server virtualization and are sold on a per-managed-socket basis. The Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization for Servers subscription is also a prerequisite for desktop virtualization, and must be present on each host to be used for desktops. Additionally, Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization for Desktops subscriptions are required for each concurrent desktop and are sold in packs of 25 concurrent desktops.
