THE ASCENDED LIFE ITS SECRET

TEXT: Phil. 3:7-14 (AMP) with Jn. 20:17; Eph. 4:10 NOTE: The Greek word for ASCEND is ANABAINO, and is taken from ANA (up, above) and BAINO (to walk); the root of the latter is BASIS (step, walk; foot). To ASCEND is to WALK UP = this is a LIFESTYLE or a WAY OF LIFE = FAR ABOVE (Eph. 1:20-23). NOTE these additional verses on the life lived FROM ABOVE: 19:11; Gal. 4:26; Phil. 2:9; Col. 3:1-2; and Jas. 1:17; 3:15-17. TWO HEBREW WORDS for SECRET: 1. Job 15:8; 29:4-6; Psa. 25:14; Jer. 23:18; and Amos 3:7. The Hebrew word for SECRET (COUNSEL) in these five Scriptures is sode (Strongs #5475), and it means, a session, company of persons (in close deliberation); by implication, intimacy, consultation, a secret; council (familiar conversations), divan, circle (familiar friends), intimacy with God (familiar con-verse). Its root means, to sit down together. This first word describes our FELLOWSHIP WITH CHIRST! 2. Psa. 18:11; 27:5; 31:20; 32:7; 61:4; 81:7; 91:1; 119:14. The Hebrew word for SECRET PLACE, HIDING PLACE, and COVERT in these verses is say'-ther (Strongs #5643), and it means, a cover; a covering, a shelter, a hiding place, secrecy; protection = MOST HOLY PLACE! This is our safety of being IN CHRIST! KEY PRINCIPLE: The SECRET of the ASCENDED LIFE is our UNION with Him in the MOST HOLY PLACE! The ASCENDED LIFE is HIS life! See Song 2:14 with 1 Cor. 6:17; Eph. 5:30. see Jn. 3:7,31; 8:23;

THE ASCENDED LIFE ITS PERSPECTIVE

KEY THOUGHT: Once we receive the revelatory understanding that we have ASENDED WITH HIM, we immediately begin to see everything and everyone differently the ASCENDED LIFE brings to us a NEW CITIZENSHIP and PERSPECTIVE (Phil. 3:20)! We have been commanded to COME UP unto the Lord into this NEW PERSPECTIVE (see Ex. 19:5-23; 24:1-12; Prov. 25:6-7; Obad. 1:21). KEY PRINCIPLE: The ASCENDED LIFE brings to us a NEW PERSPECTIVE of: 1. Our FEARS = our ENEMIES (Num. 13:1-2,25-33; 14:1-2,9-11,22-24). Now we can enter into His REST, free of FEAR (Heb. 3-4 with Isa. 26:3; 43:1-2; 2 Tim. 1:7). 2. His FAVOR = His BLESSING (Song 4:6-9). APPLICATION: The mountain of myrrh is Calvary (His DEATH, crucified with Him), and the hill of frankincense points to His RESURRECTION (accepted by the Father; raised with Him). We are fair (beautiful, bright); there is no spot (stain, blemish, defect; the consciousness of sin) in us. Come WITH Me (Rom. 8:17; 1 Pet. 3:7). We are to look (walk around, inspect, spy out, survey, behold, observe, regard, watch) from the top (head). AMANA (something fixed, covenant, allowance, certain or sure portion; used of financial support the root word is AW-MAN, the Hebrew word for FAITH!), the mountain called AMEN or SO BE IT, is the revelation, the NEW PERSPECTIVE, of all that we have received through the NEW COVENANT in His blood! Some consider HERMON to be the Mount of Transfiguration; others, an ancient name for ZION). With SINGLENESS OF EYE, the FEARLESSNESS of the LION, and the SPEED of the LEOPARD, we BELIEVE GOD! Lord, we receive Your FAVOR and Your BLESSING! AMEN! SO BE IT!

THE ASCENDED LIFE (Phil. 3:7-14, AMP) ITS IMPARTATION

KEY PRINCIPLE: Once we understand that we have ASCENDED with Him, that we are ONE with Him and have received a fresh, NEW PERSEPECTIVE (VIEW) of everything and everyone, we then can begin to DOWNLOAD or MINISTER His life to others from the Heavens. We give away and share the GIFT that we ARE and the GIFTS that we HAVE! James 1:17, KJV Every GOOD GIFT and every PERFECT GIFT is FROM ABOVE, and COMETH DOWN from the Father of LIGHTS, with whom is NO VARIABLENESS, neither SHADOW OF TURNING (Rom. 11:29; 12:6; 1 Cor. 12:4; 1 Tim. 4:14; 2 Tim. 1:6; 1 Pet. 4:10). 1. GIFT = as a matter of debt (Matt. 5:42; 10:8; Lk. 6:38; Jn. 3:27; 6:33; 14:27; 1 Jn. 3:1). 2. GOOD = of good constitution or nature; useful; pleasant, agreeable (Phile. 1:14). 3. PERFECT = complete (Mt. 5:48; Rom. 12:2; Eph. 4:13; Col. 1:28; Jas. 1:4; 1 Jn. 4:18). 4. IS = eimi (I exist or I AM; to be, to exist, to happen, to be present). 5. FROM ABOVE = anothen (from a higher place; from heaven or God)(Jn. 3:7; Jas. 3:17). 6. COMETH DOWN = katabaino (descend, step down). It is used of celestial (heavenly) beings coming down to earth (see Matt. 17:9; Jn. 6:33; Rom. 12:16; Rev. 3:12; 21:2-10). 7. LIGHTS = to shine or manifest (Mt. 5:14; Phil. 2:15-16; Eph. 5:8-9; 1 Th. 5:5; Heb. 12:9). 8. VARIABLENESS = change, variation (only here). (Mal. 3:6; Psa. 102:27; Heb. 13:8) 9. TURNING = revolution (figuratively, variation). It is used with reference to the heavenly bodies, the revolution of the HEAVENLY orbs (planao = to roam from safety, truth, or virtue; to cause to stray, to lead astray, to lead aside, to be seduced).

THE ASCENDED LIFE ITS APPLICATION

KEY PRINCIPLE: Once we understand the SECRET and the PERSPECTIVE of the ASCENDED LIFE, we DOWNLOAD or MINISTER His life and love to others from the Heavens, and give away and share the GIFT that we ARE and the GIFTS that we HAVE! The catalyst to this IMPARTATION is the APPLICATION of WISDOM! This is the ministry of the PEACEMAKER, the MATURE SON, the KING-PRIEST (the More Excellent Ministry). This APPLICATION of HEAVENLY WISDOM that flows down from the ASCENDED LIFE manifests as the DAILY ANSWERS to any and every circumstance (1 Cor. 1:24; 2:7; Col. 2:3). There is NO circumstance of life that this WISDOM cannot touch, for in Him is hidden ALL wisdom! Christ IS the wisdom of God, and Christ is in us (Col. 1:27)! James 3:17, KJV But the WISDOM THAT IS FROM ABOVE is first PURE, then PEACEABLE, GENTLE, and EASY TO BE ENTREATED, FULL OF MERCY and GOOD FRUITS, without PARTIALITY, and without HYPOCRISY (seven pillars of Prov. 9:1). 1. FIRST (proton) PURE = clean, chaste (2 Cor. 11:2; Phil. 4:8; 1 Jn. 3:2-3). 2. PEACEABLE = loving peace. It is only used in one other place (Heb. 12:11). 3. GENTLE = appropriate, mild; seemingly, suitable, equitable, fitting, moderate, forbearing; sweet reasonableness, not insisting on the letter of the law (Phil. 4:5; 1 Tim. 3:3). 4. EASY TO BE INTREATED = good for persuasion, compliant easily obeying (only here). 5. FULL (replete) OF MERCY AND GOOD FRUITS. MERCY = compassion; kindness or good will toward the miserable and the afflicted (Eph. 2:4; Tit. 3:5; Heb. 4:16; 1 Pet. 1:3). GOOD (Jas. 1:17). FRUITS = fruit as plucked (Matt. 7:16-17; Jn. 15:16; Gal. 5:22-12). 6. WITHOUT PARTIALITY = undistinguished, without discrimination (used only here). 7. WITHOUT HYPOCRISY = sincere; unfeigned, undisguised (Rom. 12:9; 2 Cor. 6:6; 1 Tim. 1:5).
