We use same adapter for Hyperion planning which we have used for Hyperion Essbase After you create an FDM application, you install and configure the Hyperion Essbase adapters. Hyperion Essbase adapters enable interaction between the FDM application and the Hyperion Essbase applications. Adapters have two componentsDLL/EXE and XML metadata. DLL/EXE files contain the system-specific instructions for interacting with target or source systems. XML files contain all data that relates to the current FDM application.
