As drivers perform their regular trucking duties, the dogs are taken to new homes or shelters for adoption. Show circuit and for-profit breeder dogs are not transported unless retired and altered. These unsung heroes give non-traditional transport a whole new meaning. Whatever means of transport is used for taking Fido from point A to point B, and all the pit stops in between, dogs are cherished family members and an integral part of our travels.
