*THE HYMN OF PRAISE AND ADORATION...................................................No. 276 We Gather Together *THE INVOCATION AND LORDS PRAYER (In Unison) Genesis 18:1-8 *THE GOSPEL........................Owen Cayton Matthew 10:34-42
God who offers us the choicest calf, while we are warmly received by you, there is a sting as we open our ears to these words in Matthew, 'I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.' We are called to stand up for you against world opinions. We are called to open our doors and lavishly welcome the outsider to come in. We seek to do both as we open ourselves to worship you with our whole being. We pray as Jesus taught us to pray for your kingdom saying, Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: for Thine is the Kingdom and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Amen.
Hear our prayer, O Lord, hear our prayer, O Lord, incline thine ear to us, and grant us thy peace. Amen.
