Final Exam Schedule and Policies, Mac Lab Closing Date The University's final exam schedule will be available here: http://www.syr.edu/registrar/students/finalexams/f2011_sc_finalexams.pdf Finals start Dec. 12th and end Dec. 15st. The assigned final exam day and time is not subject to change. This was put in place to avoid the possibility of a conflict in a student's final exam schedule. Students had access to this information when they registered. My office will be sending out a list of classes that have final exams scheduled to you in the next few weeks. You will need to confirm that your class has an exam scheduled and whether you need your scheduled room or not for a final exam. It is University policy that final exams cannot be scheduled during the last week of classes, or on Reading Days, even if the majority of students in the class so request. Again, this is to avoid an overburden on students during the most hectic week of the semester and while they are trying to study for finals. For those of you who collect final projects and portfolios, please be mindful that the Mac computer labs will close Friday, Dec. 15th at 5 p.m.
