Mahavardhaman Dr. Yogindrasinh Joshi and Dr. Vishakhaveera Joshi recited the 14th Chapter of Guru charitra in Sanskrit. While they were reciting P.P.Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu performed the puja and abhishek on Lord Dattaguru.

|| Hari Om || Aaradhanajyoti 38, Om, Pranav, Omkar, Satnam, Eknaam, Akshyay by these various names we do address the Pranav, the Omkar. Ganapatis trunk; Ganapati having the elephants trunk , having the ears of the elephant; Ganapati, having the ears like the winnowing fan . Lambodar Ganesha, meaning Ganapati having a large belly. Tell me, if we actually look at it from the point of view of beauty, does this form fit in anywhere ? No, it doesnt, trunk of an elephant, the ears are like the winnowing-fan can we call him beautiful? Whether it is a man or a woman, even if the belly is huge one and loose, yet Ganpati looks very beautiful. Whether you really have any feeling or not. This means that we must realize what Ganapati wants to convey to us. Rajano, the external beauty or the external looks does not basically depend on its external form, shape, its length or breadth but depends on the pran inside that living form. The feelings inside the living body and their relationship with the pran decides its beauty or ugliness of that body. Just imagine that a very beautiful girl, attractive, the most beautiful young lady of the world who is also the daughter of the richest person of the world is ready to marry you. By you, I mean those who are in the sixties do not raise your hands. It is for those who are eligible bachelors, and she is standing with a garland in her hands saying I want to marry

you, I want to marry you, You are about to say yes but just then she takes out a report and shows you that she is HIV+ve and then what happens? In a moment her beauty will not appeal to you anymore. If that beautiful lady suddenly from somewhere takes out a pistol and holds it on you, then will that lady look beautiful at that moment? She will not. Whether for a lady or a man whatever it is, the truth is that that she will not look beautiful. This means that we should realize that it is not right to say that the external factor of a thing is not important. Externally things may look strange but if the original feeling is beautiful then what emerges from it is also beautiful. Everyone has an attraction for that feeling. Why does a man frequent a brothel, nowadays the reverse also happens, why does he frequent it? Because he doesnt get any satisfaction. This important thing we must understand. Satisfaction is something that can never be achieved by stealing, robbing or plundering. Satisfaction comes from the grace of Laxmimata, Bhagwati, Jagdamba, Radha and Gayatrimata. Only when she is pleased we get peace and contentment. But whenever we are ungrateful to God or whenever we tell lies to Him or whenever we blatantly do things in His presence and still deny doing it then at that very moment, bear in mind Laxmimata has nothing to do with you. Nothing at all. On LaxmiPujan day we celebrate it in a grand manner, we do puja in spite of it being a new moon day which is otherwise considered as inauspicious. The day, being the day of LaxmiPujan, it becomes very auspicious for us. For us the worship of Laxmi is important but while performing it, it doesnt strike us where does Laxmi always live? She always resides at the feet of Vishnu but if the feet of Vishnu are not with you then Laxmi cannot remain with you. Where does Parvati, epitome of satisfaction, always live? She is always sitting on the lap of Shankar, Shivashankara, Paramshiva or she is sitting in front of his feet meditating on him. Even if we separate them or have separate temples for them or draw them separately we should realize that the Lord always resides in their heart. We install Ganapati in our house. We go to the temples. One Ganapati is known as Siddhivinayaka and some other as Varadavinayaka, we give all sorts of names to Ganapati. If we hear the name given to Ganapati or Maruti in Pune we may simply fall flat. In Girgaon one Maruti in the olden days was known as Landya Maruti Those who know the history of Mumbai they be aware of it, Maruti was known by that name and for which Maruti is not to be blamed. These names are given buy us. This Ganapati is Siddhivinayaka, His trunk is on the right. The question then arises is every Ganapati with the trunk on the right side Siddhivinayaka? Some Siddhivinayakas are seen with the trunk on the left side. Then whats the truth? Then, by the side of Ganapati we find Riddhi and Siddhi then this Siddhivinayaka is He only Siddhis husband? Does he go with Siddhi only. Has he deserted Riddhi? No. Riddhi and Siddhi are two shaktis which are very essential for every human being to maintain balance in our life and Bapu has told us very often that nine chakras exist in our pran deha and the basic chakra is the Mooladhar Charkra which is at the bottom, at the tip of the lowest vertebra and Lord Ganapati resides there and is the Lord of this chakra. This chakra has four petals. They are Aahar, Vihar, Aachar and Vichar. When our Aahar (Intake or food habits), Vihar (residence ) , Aachar (Conduct) and Vichar (Thinking) are proper then only we are happy in our life, remain healthy and joyful. We should then know that whatever we do, it is never one-way, in one direction. We know by the principles of physics that Action and Reaction are equal and opposite it is simple. We put one hand over the other and clap, by beating one hand over the other energy is created in that direction as well the other direction and they are equal. This means that action and reaction are equal. But this principle is true only upto a certain atmospheric level. Beyond it, this principle is not true, as told by our scientists today. But every action has a reaction, we do not realize that whatever actions a human beings does the God behind the direction and planning is Riddhi and the God of the reaction of that action, its planning and direction is done by Siddhi. And

that is why, we make more vows to Siddhivinayaka, the Giver of success. But we do not know that basically Riddhi and Siddhi are not two different entities. According to our Karma we get the fruit of it. As we sow, so we reap. Our reaction depends upon our action. This means that action and reaction are equal and opposite and this is very true for all of us, all human beings. And Ganapati treats both the Riddhi and the Siddhi equally. In this mantra we read that Ganapati is:

Lambodarya Ekadantaaya Vighnanashine, Shivasutaya ShreeVaradamoortaye Namo Namah. Varadamoorti, we believe that to grant us boons is the work of every God but why do find that the title of Varadamoorti is being given to Ganapati again and again? Its because in this Moolaadharachakra we have been given the free will (karma swatantraya). We should understand where a persons free will is located? It is in this Mooladharchakara only. Aahar-Vihar-Aachar and Vichar whatever free will we have is in doing all these four things, we create problems for ourselves by misusing them. So that we use our free will properly in the right direction and that no untoward things happen we worship Ganapati before we start any auspicious work. When we do any auspicious work, nothing undesirable, not Shubh karyeshu sarvada but Sarvakaryeshu sarvada, that work should not be undesirable. Whether it is, a simple daily chore or an auspicious ceremony we should first worship Ganapati. It is so because every work that we do everyday from the time we get up in the morning till the time we go to bed or even while we are asleep, it all depends on this Mooladhar Chakara. Whatever dreams we have are also related to this Moolaadhar Chakra. We should realize this. Whether it is day or night and whether we are able to sleep peacefully or not, all depends on the Mooladharchakra and eventually it is in the hands of Ganesha, and He with the help of Riddhi and Siddhi every action and reaction and every action created from every reaction depends on Him. If we feel that we do not have enough strength as we are ordinary human beings then we should be able do namaskar to the Parmatma, Ganapati, the Omkara, the Lord of Mooladharchakra, the Lord of our every action and reaction. Then only He his is the true Varadamoorti He has both Riddhi and Siddhi with and as he is the controller of every action and its reaction of yours. And thats why He is the true Varadamoorti.

To-day, we are again going to do the same jap and while doing so let us have this feeling in our mind. O! Ganapatiraya, you do come in my life as the master of the Riddhi and Siddhi. Not just as the Riddhivinayaka, Not even just as the Siddhivinayaka but as the RiddhiSiddhivinayaka.
