Learn to become a professional waiter, barista and bartender with WelTecs Certificate in Food and Beverage Service (Level 3). Designed to provide you with a broad knowledge of front of house services within restaurant, hotel and caf environments, you will learn how to make coffee, mocktails and cocktails, gain core table service skills, understand food and wine pairings and learn about menu development. Fast-track your career in hospitality or hotel management with the Diploma in Hospitality Operations Supervision. The hospitality industry is growing at a rapid pace. New business opportunities have led to an increased demand for hospitality management experts capable of running them. This programme prepares those wanting to enter into supervisory roles in the hospitality industry. You will have the opportunity to choose between culinary arts, food and beverage service and hotel reception and develop your technical skills in your first year. Our training restaurant, Bistro 107, is open throughout the academic year to the public for lunches and dinners. Our food and beverage and cookery students run the restaurant as part of their study. This ensures that they receive real experience working in an industry environment. The restaurant is fully licenced and offers competitive prices.
