Chapter 5 Findings, Conclusion and Recommendations

Problem 1
What is the existing way of presenting exhibits in Museo de Isarog as to: a. Presenting culture? b. Promoting tourism?

Findings
During the structured interview conducted by the researchers to the curator of the Museo de Isarog (please see Appendix B), It has been found out that there is a classification of presenting exhibits in the museum and these exhibits are displayed according to their type. This classification both presents the culture of Partido and promotes tourism of every municipality. Ecclesiastical all about churches / Pictures gallery and things and equipment used in church. Conclusion
All exhibits in the museum are meant to preserve Partido culture and enhance awareness as well as appreciation of tangible and

intangible heritage. The museum also aims to provide learning and entertainment on the work of logical people.

Recommendation
It is recommended that when developing a museum kiosk, it must comply with the museums standards as it will not violate the concept of presenting exhibits as well as presenting culture and promoting tourism of the museum.

Problem 2
What are the capabilities of the system as to accuracy,

usefulness and reliability?

Findings
The capabilities of Museo de Isarog TouchInfo Kiosk as to

reliability based on the result during the testing procedure is very satisfactory as presented to Table 4.2; while the usefulness, and accuracy of the system according to testing result are satisfactory based from the same table.

Conclusion
The application of touch screen monitor for displaying virtual exhibits and as a medium for information visualization to the user did add an extra factor so that the information are conveyed to the user effectively thus helping the information to be perceived as accurate, useful and reliable.

Recommendation
Touch screen monitor are recommended for virtual exhibits because they provide more enhanced user interactivity. This approach has been proven effective in presenting information to the user thus

information is perceived as accurate, useful and reliable. On the development recommend and maintenance license side for of the system, used the in

developing the system namely Adobe Flash CS3 and Adobe Fireworks CS3 (in most cases, they are included in one package) be supplied by the University Museum. This will make the system more legal to use for a long period of time especially in cases where there is a need for the system to be updated or changed. Problem 3
What is the level of acceptability of the system?

Findings
The level of acceptability of the respondents about the use of Museo de Isarog TouchInfo Kiosk in the University Museum during

testing is very satisfactory (Please see figure 4.2).

Conclusion
Due to the trend in modern technology, the application and use of touch screen monitor for presenting virtual exhibits is very

satisfactory to the users.

Recommendation
Therefore it is recommended that systems like Museo de Isarog TouchInfo Kiosk shall be implemented in the university museum as it will add to the encouragement and pleasure as well as learning to the users which is about presenting preserved culture and promoting

tourism. Moreover, it will be more economical for the museum to put some exhibits virtual by using the kiosk than to put another room or space for expansion for the exhibits.
