Harvest Festival Our Harvest Festival is next Sunday 2nd October. Please bring any harvest gifts with you on Sunday morning. After the service we will be sharing in a faith lunch in the Parish Rooms. John Sayles John raised 150 for the church when he did his skydive in July. Well done John. John requested that the donation be placed with the Well. WOW Women on Wednesday time again at Pats (Pat Harltey) Wednesday September 28th. Swap Shop (books/bags/costume jewellery etc !!). Come along and swap have a catch up with other women from the church, all welcome. For direction information please speak to Pat, Rose or Anne. Rock Solid High Leaders urgently required for this thriving and demanding ministry. Do you feel God is calling you to reach out to 11-13 year olds in our community who are generally unchurched? The group meets Wednesday from 5.30 until 7.15 pm term-time and you would be required to have a CRB check (unless you already have a disclosure for Church). Global Leadership Conference We have one free place for the Saturday at this excellent leadership training event it takes place on October 8th. If you would like to go speak to Don. Wheelchair Thanks to Lester for providing the wheelchair which is available for anyone who needs it for use in church. Church Walks Our next Monday afternoon walk will be on the 3rd October. We will meet at the Parish Church Rooms at 1.00 pm, please let John and Kate know if you are coming (tel: 223893). The next Saturday walk will be on 22nd October and the fortnightly Friday morning Health Walks continue from The Well at 10.15 am on the 7th and 21st October. Tanzania - The Next Chapter A service of celebration at 4.00 pm on Sunday 6th November at St Thomas Church Batley. See notice board for more details. School of Theology, Leeds Starting from Saturday 1st October at St Georges Church Centre, Leeds. The 2011-12 programme follows a Bible Track and features an excellent group of speakers from around the country. The eight Saturday mornings will provide a detailed overview of the Scriptures, and inspiration in applying

them to life. The sessions are open to all and will be highly stimulating. For more information contact St Georges Church.
