PROBLEM STATEMENT: The objective of the event is to build manually controlled robot (wired/ wireless) and drive it from

the start to end of the maze. The bot should be directed so as to roll a ball from the centre of the maze to the start point of the opponent. The maximum time given for this will be decided on spot depending on the arena difficulty. Bonus points are discussed below.

ARENA SPECIFICATION: 1. The arena will be any form of symmetrical maze. 2. The height of the wall will be 10cm. The distance between two walls will be 50cm. 3. The arena will be split into zones (yellow and red) for bonus calculations.

BOT SPECIFICATION: 1. Dimensions of the participant bot should remain 20cm x 20cm at all instants of time. There are no restrictions on height and weight. 2. No external power supply should be used. Only DC power supply is permitted and the voltage between any two points should not exceed 12V, at all instants of time. 3. The bot must not damage the arena. Doing so will lead to disqualification of the team. 4. Robots must not use readymade mechanisms. However readymade gear assemblies and magnets can be used.

RULES: General Instructions: 1. Maximum of 4 members/ team. Participants from different branches/ college can team up together. 2. Participants should bring their respective ID card or bonafide. Failing to produce either will not be allowed to participate. 3. A formal dress code to be strictly observed. 4. Event Instructions: 1. At a time two teams should compete starting from the start points. 2. The event will be on knock out basis. The team which wins gets through to next round. 3. Bot should not carry the ball. The ball should move freely at any instants of time. 4. Gold coins will be placed accordingly in the arena. Participants can use magnets or electromagnets for collecting those coins.

JUDGING CRITERIA 1. Bonus point 1: The bot which touches the ball first will be awarded with a bonus of 100 points. 2. Bonus point 2: Collecting the gold coins will yield you bonus of 20 points for each coin. 3. Bonus point 3: Reaching the opponents zones with the ball will yield you bonus of 200 points and 300 points for yellow and red zone respectively. 4. The bot which reaches the opponents start with the ball will declared as the winner. 5. In case, if no team completes the task within 10 minutes, then the team with higher bonus points will be judged as the winner.

Total Points = (600 T) + B T - Time (in seconds) to reach the finishing end from the starting end. B Total number of bonus points obtained.
