ARCHITECTURAL THESIS FORUM : NEW SCHEDULE It's been an ordinary scenario in Architectural Thesis work that students experience

great difficulties. From theme selection to title formulation to site selection to literature writing and ultimately to architectural translation; most students are confused in the proper direction of their thesis. We must accept and realized that there are thesis teachers who are inept in handling the terminal project. Also, students are not well trained in research studies making them vulnerable to copypaste habit, superficial hypothesis, and sadly mediocrity. The Brown Bauhaus Studio Architecture as an alternative school of architecture provides this kind of aberrant education to students who are serious to create a credible thesis work and those who need to understand architecture more than what their schools are giving them. DETAILS: 1. Forum Date:August 13, 2011 @ 1000am-500pm 2. Venue: The Brown Bauhaus Studio @ Rm 404, 929 Donya Consuelo Bldg., N. Reyes St., Sampaloc, Manila (beside FEU) 3. Registration Fee: Php 150.00 (Registration and payment can be done in advance or in the date proper) 4. Forum Highlight: a. Students will be able to know the proper thesis flow and context. b. Emphasis on the core of the research : THE PROBLEM STATEMENT. Students will be able to understand the real core of their thesis by identifying the most specific aspects of the problem. c. Students will be able to establish the most realistic and efficient goal and objectives of their study. d. Participants will be able to learn how to review properly related literature. e. Clear definitions of architectural philosophy and design concept will be emphasized. f. Ultimately, students will be able to understand the whole context of their thesis and know the clear direction of their research works. 5.
