Flex-Tac is a high performance fabric utilizing proprietary fibers and developed exclusively by 5.11 Tactical. This exclusive fabric blend combines all the great features and benefits of the various pant fabrics we have developed over the last five years by listening to our end users. The lightweight, breathable, poly/cotton ripstop incorporates mechanical stretch yarns, meaning the stretch and recovery of the fabric is achieved without the use of spandex. Trainers are built to be light and flexible by strobel lasting, so the fit and feel will be closer to running shoes you may be used to. A lace-to-toe system with sausage laces keeps you snug and secure while an external heel cup enhances stability. Two styles are available to suit your individual needs; the Tactical Trainer Mid WP 2.0 is a mid-height boot with a waterproof-breathable membrane and waterproof rough-out suede with breathable airmesh. The Tactical Trainer Low 2.0 is cut below the ankle and features a rough-out suede and airmesh upper for maximum breathability.
