introduction
iCaller is a dormitory occupant calling system that will help monitors of each dorms to call occupants from their rooms by the use of PIC microprocessors, LCD, keypad and LED light indicators. The researchers of iCaller endeavors to upgrade process in calling of occupants in the dormitories of AUP while safeguarding the privacy of its occupants.

It is the objective of the researchers of iCaller to upgrade the process of calling occupants of the dorms should there be any concerns for them like phone call or visitors while preserving their privacy.

It is the role of the monitor on duty for every dormitory to facilitate concerns for occupants residing in their respective dormitory work field.

Among the tasks which the monitors do is to call the attention of the occupants concerned in cases where they have phone calls or visitors.

Oftentimes, this work becomes tiring to the monitors and uncomfortable to the occupants specially when there are times when monitors come in the room irrespective of the privacy of the occupants since they theme selves have keys for individual rooms.

Having the issue of privacy in mind, iCaller system was born to give ease to monitors in calling occupants plus the capability to call occupants while keeping their privacy intact. With the advent of microcontrollers, the designers will maximize the use thereof at minimum complexity of circuitry.

Power Supply Level is among the vital components of the system. It feeds power to all members of the system.
The system is a fully dc operated one. The Power System of iCALLER operates by employing a regulator system to maintain the level of voltage supply to all parts of the system. By doing so it balances the systems tendency to over power a module and prohibits the system to supply low power to every module of the system which if occurred will compromise the whole functionality of the system. Either extreme is harmful to the system.

Process Station Evaluates the input and identifies the route of occupant to be called. In this level the use of microcontroller and drivers are employed to rightly identify destination.

Since the application of the project involves multiple recipients, a driver is needed in routing the same message for a unique destination from a single sender while multiple connection is allowed for the system to have.

The presentation Station delivers the intent of the monitor in calling the occupant.

LED and buzzer were utilized to present the intention of calling an occupant.

A DC source passes the regulator. The regulator then maintains the flow of voltage to all modules giving sufficient power supply to all parts of the system.

Covered by almost all functionality of the whole system, the process station is run through the aid of microcontroller. The designers used PIC 16f877A with multiple output pens since its application demands this IC to be with multiple output devices. In the recipient side, PIC16f84a was use to respond from the input given.

To call the attention of the occupant a buzzer is present in the presentation station. Since common intent includes phone call or visitor, a green and blue led were to be used to indicate green for phone call and blue for visitors.

Since each room in Molave B, for instance, includes 4 occupants in one room, there will be 4 red led lights that will denote which among the 4 occupants is being called each occupant is reserved with one led light dedicated for himself alone.
