At the ancient time agriculture was a business which was used by the people of india .after 1992 when globalization came all the businesses started in all over the world. In a developing economy and Country, opportunities exist in almost every segment and scale infrastructure, health care, education, transport, Energy, Retail, IT, Construction, Insurance. The list is long and endless. It is true for India as well. Spoiled by decades of protected markets, Indian companies were initially fearful of the foreign competition permitted by liberalization. Public sector companies in particular lobbied hard to limit overseas players. But this trend has largely evaporated by 2008. In recent years, companies and executives in India have become increasingly confident of their ability to execute to a global footprint. Government owned cellular companies such as BSNL compete with Vodafone, Bharti and Reliance. Oil companies such as ONGC make acquisitions in far away locations such as Russia and South America. Tata Steel executed a leveraged buyout of Corus, a company several times its size. Tata Chemicals paid about a billion dollars to acquire an American peer and become the largest producer of soda ash, an important industrial chemical. Foreign executives have flocked to India in search of profits for their companies and career growth for themselves.
