14 September 2011 B-Ring 425 EDUCATION 1 B STUDENT LETTER 1 Dear students, We have now completed the first term of the second semester. The purpose of this student letter is to provide some feedback on the tests written, changes to the semester programme and other general information. 1. Semester programme We have had to make some changes on the semester programme. Please see the revised programme at the back of this letter. 2. Learning guide The learning guide is your map to the module. Consult your learning guide regularly. 3. Tutors A list has been placed on EDULINK for those students who have to attend compulsory tutor sessions. The tutors will also contact you. Note that you have to attend these tutor sessions. The mail addresses of the tutors are in your guide. However, consult the tutors even though you are not required to attend compulsory tutor sessions. 4. The prescribed handbook We are aware that many of you did not acquire the prescribed handbook of this module. We are concerned because the information in the handbook is important for your learning and development in this module. 5. Module mark The module mark will consist of: One class test Two EDULINK tests Class tests on case study Class attendance Exam Total Final mark divided by 2 = 100% 25 60 5 10 100 200

6. Sick or additional test This test will be written on 22 September in D-Les 201 at 7:30. The test duration is 50 minutes and the scope is as for the first test. There will still be lectures. You can go back to your lecture after you have completed the test.
