Lighting
Designing a lighting scheme for a stretch of road is by no
means as simple as it may first appear.
For safety and security reasons, road lighting must also create
highly uniform lighting on the road surface, with minimum glare.
Key features
• Sealed to IP65
• Body: made from UV stabilised, reinforced thermoplastic material
providing excellent mechanical and chemical resistance.
• Electrical Unit: the control gear is mounted on an easily remov-
able isolating plate. Mains power is automatically disconnected
when the housing is opened.
• Optical Assembly consists of:
- Reflector: Made from high purity (99.85%) anodised
aluminium. Light distribution with minimal upward light
spill (cut-off)
- Lens: 4mm tempered glass. The ET25 is also available
with a UV stabilised polycarbonate lens
- Lampholder: Adjustable in various positions
• Relamping: quick, easy and safe
• Installation: mounting on 43-76mm posts. Adjustable tilt from -5°
to +15° in 5° movements
