Welcome to Technic Unoffical Modpack version 2 for Minecraft SSP 1.7.3 IF INSTALLING FOR THE FIRST TIME ---------------------------------------------------------1.

Start with a completley new .minecraft install, vanilla. 2. Take all the files in 'directory' and dump them into the root .minecraft, ove rwriting/merging every folder 3. Take all the files in 'jar' and add them to your minecraft.jar file (in your 'bin' folder) using winrar or 7zip or whatever the hell 4. DELETE META-INF FOLDER INSIDE YOUR minecraft.jar OR YOU WILL GET A BLACK SCRE EN. THIS IS IN CAPS BECAUSE I AM YELLING. 5. Play and enjoy.

IF YOU ARE UPGRADING FROM THE FIRST VERSION OF TECHNIC ----------------------------------------------------------The easiest and cleanest way to upgrade would be to backup your current Technic install (just in case) and start fresh with version 2 following the instructions above and move your save over. If you are sexy and reckless though you can try to dump version 2 on top of your version 1 install, just be sure to go into the .minecraft/mods directory and delete 'buildcraft-client' zips labeled 2.0.1, and 'ModEqEx3.52' since those have been upgraded, and Minecraft (like a fat swede) will try to load both versions of mods, screaming that block IDs are conflicting because both mods are reading from the same config file. Really though, you should start fresh and simply copy your save over, and BACK U P YOUR SAVES CHANGES ----------------------------------------------------------I lied about the modlist in version 1. I had an old versions of Buildcraft and a n old version of Equivalent Exchange. Whoops! - Upgraded to Industrial Craft 2 v1.0, this fixes the strong water current bug a nd the mining drill not seen as a pickaxe by other mods, among other things. Be careful with that drill when around your machines! - Upgraded to EE version 3.53 - Upgraded Buildcraft to 2.1.1 - Upgraded to MAtmos 1.7.3 r5 - Included a pre-configured ModLoader.cfg file to hopefully avoid any more confl icts, with both frivolous SDK mod options disabled. I did this in version 1 as w ell, but I put it in the wrong spot - Included tweaks for Treecapitator to allow all modded axes in the game to coun t. This means you can use the chainsaw, bronze axe and dark matter axe and get t he treecapitator experience - A bunch of small tweaks that I've already forgotten about

Unofficial SDK's Mods Better Than Wolves v2.94 Mo' Creatures 2.12.2 Millenaire 1.3.2 Somnia Biome Water Treecapitator MAtmos 1.7.2 r4 Rei's Minimap 1.8 Risugami's Recipe Book 1.7.3 Convenient Inventory I tested this myself on a fresh install and even loaded up my map and everything was working, so please check and make sure you are doing everything correctly. I did this again with version 2. I did not get permission from anyone and I didn't even bother asking. The Minecr aft modding community is terrible and the egos some of the modders themselves ha ve is incredibly terrible. I simply made this pack because I love these mods and want other people to experience them as well with as little work on their part as possible. You should be able to add SOME other mods to this pack. I'm pretty sure the Zepp lin mod (the one you build it then place a block) will work with this, you'll ju st have to fish around for a free block id. Mods like Water Shader or Optifine will NOT work with this pack because of Minec raft Forge. Optifine is trying to get working with Forge but as of right now it will not work. Some people claim Optifine works when you install it last and yea h, you might be able to start the game that way but it will crash once you get i nto the advanced part of Technic.
