Syllabus: (ML-I)

There will be 60 objective questions. These are given to test quantities


skills (at 10 +2 level). and reasoning skills (at the undergraduate level).
Knowledge of mathematics, ability to read and understand graphs &
statistical tables (preferably 10 +2 level).

Syllabus (ML-II): The questions are mostly centred around to test the
language proficiency and aptitude to Library and Information. The
question are related to:

a) Comprehension Ability Test: A para/text is followed by 4 or


5 objective type questions on the text. The candidate is
expected to go through the para/text and understand its content,
to answer 4 –5 objective type questions.

b) Test of English Language Proficiency: 20 objective type


questions are given to test the knowledge of antonyms,
analogy, synonyms elementary English grammar.

c) Aptitude Test: 20 objective type questions are given to test


the basic knowledge of books, library/information centre and
its services, computer, etc.

d) Writing Skills: The candidate will be asked to write a note


(not more than two paragraphs) on current or related topics
such as Personal computer, e-book, internet, library elements
etc.
