Excel Outlining and Grouping

Overview
Create a view of your worksheet that allows you to show or hide detail data.

Detail
When data is in list form, Microsoft Excel can create an outline to let you
hide or show levels of detail with a single mouse click. An outline lets you
quickly display only the rows or columns that provide summaries or
groupings for sections of your worksheet, or display detail data associated
with a summary row or column.

How to Outline Data

Automatic methods
Data, Group and Outline, Auto Outline
