The Project involves major change in the payment device and working of these devices with VISA, and MasterCard. It should work with Contactless tender transaction with limit set. Also check the various responses to the POS devices and Payment at Various stages of tender transaction. Checking the functionality like cashback, Refund with regard to Contactless transaction. Also testing the counter with regard to transaction value and Number time the Contactless transaction could be done. In addition to the Contactless, There are other changes involve in testing the Offline refund and Dynamic floor limit to be set for different card types. Also to test the major change to the promotion attributes which is received from the upper end and Promotion calculation at POS tills. Project Title# :Point of Sales Client :Tesco - UK Environment :C, Unix, Retalix QDX, VB, SQL Server Domain :Retail The project involves testing of various types of store tills which includes mainbank, caf, express, Customer service desk, Customer self service checkout, Petrol Filling Station. As a part of UAT testing, involves testing various functionality, which is specific to that particular type of tills and checking the configuration. It involves testing the communication between tills and various servers like Lottery, E-gift, SmartVouchers, and Coupon. Also involves in testing of various credit/debit card communication between the tills and server Tesco Back office: Application receives data from RS6000 server about the PLU ,promotion, price details and same is broadcast to tills involves in maintaining the price

integrity, printing shelf edge and promotion labels for display in store. It also generates report for various business purposes. Application broadcast the price increase or decrease, PLU configuration like emergency product withdrawal, price verification and not for sale immediately or as specified. Master File server: Configuration file management data would be received from Tesco Back Office will sync with primary and secondary MFS.Data would be broadcast to the till connected to store MFS.Configuration for the store specific changes can also be done here Responsibilities: Involved as software engineer in testing team Documentation like writing Testcases, Defect Report Preparing Checklist, Environment Health check and Test matrix document for signing off build. Project Title # : NG Decommissioning Client : Tesco - UK Environment : C, UNIX, Retalix QDX, VB, SQL Server 2005, Windows 2003, RS6000 Server, Mainframe. Domain : Retail The Project involves decommissioning of RS6000 Server and replacing with Windows 2003 Server. The project involving the replacing the same functionality and workflow in the commissioned Windows 2003 server.NG provides various functions including transaction data validation, end of day reconciliations, in-store reporting, and transmitting data to the mainframe for further processing. Current Project involves the replacing NG system with Till data Store system which takes the real time data feed from Storeline system. As part of System Integration Testing, to check real time data feeds are updated in the Till data store system. After EOD message is received from Storeline system, ensure all the extract files are generated at Till Data store with data received from Storeline system. Also ensuring the extract files are transmitted and processed in Mainframe systems (KL, CR, FS, TD/TE, Safe, Solve)

Project Title # :Spend& Save Client :Tesco -UK Environment : C, Unix, Retalix QDX, SQL Server, VB. Domain :Retail The project involves automating the the promotion calculation method so that the manual intervention by the cashier to give the reward is accurate and customer are benefited on more purchase or spending more. The keystrokes way of awarding the promotion reward by cashier was leading to lots of human error, this required most skilled people at the checkout and the time consumption to serve people at the Queue was more, to erradicate all these issues the new Automated process came in place.
