Are We Wholly

Following the Lord?

Joshua 14:6-9

It is one thing to start applying Godly principles in our lives

another to follow through to complete victory. Amen.

Today we are going to look at Caleb and see how he never stops
trusting God during his time in the desert and after they got the
land.

Joshua 14:6-9

Caleb son of Jephunneh

1. One of the twelve spies sent to check out the land.
2. One of two that believed they could take the land.
a. While the other ten measured the people of the land
according to their own strength, Caleb and Joshua did their
measuring with God’s strength.
3. Wondered around in the wilderness for 40 years.
a. God was not going to let unbelief enter into the land.

I used to walk around knowing God could use me, but I didn’t think
God would at least not in a mighty way like them.

How many of us are walking around like that today? satan’s lie.
Raise your hands.

Caleb never stopped trusting God’s promise

1. 45 years later and Caleb is still going after God’s promise.
2. Caleb asks for what was promised to him by Moses.
a. Not a shame to it about himself because it was said
about him by Moses.
b. And it was a special piece of land compare to the rest.
c. We can call ourselves Holy Priest because the Lord
says that about us. 1 Peter 2:9
d. We should ask God for what He has promised us
through Christ Jesus. Parents and children.

Ephesians 1:14

Are we confidant that what we asking for is going to happen?

James 1:6

May be, May be not. How many of us pray the your will be done
Lord. The safety net for God as if He needs our help.

Follow-through in your faith trust Jesus He will not disappoint

you.

Proverbs 23:18

A lot of times we take the least of because we believe it is being

humble when in actuality we really playing it safe.

Follow-through and let God do His thing that is to bless you!

Caleb wasn’t ashamed to ask for what was promised to him in fact
he says; I follow my LORD completely and I believed that we can
take this land because HE said.

Caleb’s Confidence
1. Moses said it to him.
2. Caleb’s CONDIFENCE came from the understanding of who
his God was and is to him.
3. He knew it. He wasn’t a borderline Christian. Caleb lived out
God’s words.
a. Love ME, trust ME, live for ME, know ME, see ME,
breathe ME, and become ME.

When we live like this we can walk in the CONFIDENCE of God.

1 John 3:21-22

When we live in the will of God, His will becomes obvious to us.
Are you wholly following God? What do you mean by that?

Matthew 16:24

Your ambitions means (your desires) and your desires are to be

God’s ambitions (God’s desires). It’s not about you!

Jesus model this for us in the garden; Luke 22:41-44

Jesus gave up His own will that the Father’s will be done.
1. You think Christ wanted to beaten beyond recognition?
2. You think Jesus wanted to be separated from His Dad?
3. You think Jesus wanted His Father to turn away from Him
when He needed His Dad the most.

Gang Jesus followed-through with His life so that the Father’s will
be done. John 3:16-17

What is the out come of wholly following God? VICTORY!!

1. Caleb was given a special land from the rest of the people
because he believed.

There is a special anointing waiting for each of you if you are

willing to follow-through.

2. Caleb received grapevines with grapes like he never saw

before. The land of Milk and Honey.
Caleb follow-through he believe even what seems impossible to
physical eye, He saw through spiritual eyes and by faith he took
possession of the land promised to him.

Do you want a special blessing from God? It will take a complete

submission of the flesh and our minds. We will need to believe
everything HE says not just what seems possible to us.

Isaiah 55:8-9

Let’s stop analyzing God and start believing God.

Gang, please don’t stop at salvation it’s just the beginning of the
journey the next step is to walk in the power of the Holy Spirit the
Resurrection Power. Amen.
