1. Statistica 8 is compatible to windows Vista, XP and windows 2000. (If your Desktop is having Windows VISTA

then before trying to install the software please log on to the Desktop as an Administrator. This is the requirement of MS VISTA.
2. Uninstall any previous STATISTICA installations. (Do not just delete the folder. Uninstall it through the normal uninstall procedure.) 3. If the shortcut folder "STATISTICA" still exists in Desktop after un-installation, delete the same from your PC. 4. Insert the CD and Statistica CD should auto run or else explore the CD and double click on CD start. 5. Then Click on Install Statistica button. The Setup will install the software for you in the default location i.e C:\Program Files\StatSoft\Statistica 8 6. Put the allotted 20 digit CD Key and time code, and click Next

7. Click on I Accept the terms of the license agreement and click next.

8. Select Typical Installation. 9. Write your Name, Company Name and allotted Serial Number for Statistica & click on next.

10. It will ask for the registration confirmation, if information is correct click on YES

12. If you have a internet connection select automatically register Statistica else select manual register and click next

If you select Automatic register then the product will registered automatically and it will show you the registration details also.

Steps to Install Statistica AGA 8.0 Desk Top License from CD 13. Select the location to install the Software by default it takes: C:\. If you want to change to location then click on Browse and select the path and click on Next.

14. It will ask for installation of Multimedia files, if you wants to install the same click Yes else click No and then next. 15. It will ask for Desktop shortcut choice if you want a desktop icon of Statistica click on Yes 16. Now it is ready to install Statistica AGA 8.0 click on Install.

Steps to Install Statistica AGA 8.0 Desk Top License from CD 17. A screen will come up as per the picture, please dont click on Cancel. It will take few minutes to install the Statistica Software.

18. Installation of Statistica is Complete, Click on the Finish button.

For manual registration: Your Statistica Software is installed and a temporary license is generated for 14 days. A .txt file (StatSoftRegistration) is created and saved on your desktop please mail that file to license@statsoft.com or db@statsoftindia.com to generate a permanent license. StatSoft India will take 02 Working days to delivered the permanent license, by the time you can use your Statistica Software.

: How to install ASPIRE-DMAIC menu in Statistica : Step 1. Put the CD in the CD Roam drive and explore. Copy the folder called TATA Steel and DMAIC.exe from CD. Ste2. Go to the program file from C drive open StatSoft folder, open the folder Statistica-8, click on Example, click the folder called Macro Paste both the Folder TATA Steel & DMAIC in the above Location. Step 3: Now Open Statistica from desktop.

Now minimized the software. Go to Macro folder and double click on DMAIC.exe file.
