LCD Keypad
Important considerations when selecting an intruder alarm system: The correct positioning of your intrusion detection devices is essential for effective system performance. Too few detectors may result in an intrusion event going undetected. Additionally, the selection of inferior quality detection devices will inevitably lead to false alarms. The LCD keypad will generally be used on a daily basis to turn the system on and off, as well as check the status of the system. One or more simple yet informative conveniently located LCD keypads are essential as the alarm system must be easy to operate. A siren and strobe acts as a strong deterrent to intruders, so it must be located out of reach to avoid tampering, yet prominently displayed to alert those nearby when an alarm occurs. In this ever changing world your premises, staff and operational requirements regularly change. An alarm control panel needs to be designed with flexibility in mind so that it is expandable to cater for your future needs. The communications link to the monitoring centre is an important consideration. Intruder alarm panels provide a number of choices including dialup over standard telephone lines, mobile GSM / GPRS and IP (broadband) networks.
