SWPPP Inspection Checklist A. Erosion controls are to be in place at the temporary electric pole inspection. B. Erosion control fencing or soil stabilization fabric must be installed in an approved manner and maintained throughout the construction project until the Utility Release/Plumbing/ HVAC final inspections. C. Large piles of dirt are required to be protected with erosion control fencing, NOT soil stabilization fabric. D. Erosion control protection should be proactively maintained at least once a week. Irrigation Inspection Checklist


This checklist is not to be construed as all-inclusive; it is only to be used as a guideline. CODE ITEM Check that city approved plans are on site. Approved back flow prevention device required with y strainer installed before device. Full port ball type isolation valve between meter and back flow device. Test cocks on B/F device are to be plugged with threaded plugs. Installed min. 3 ft. from water service on customer side of property line. Master valve (if required) installed on discharge side of B/F device (full port ball type valve). Check location of controllers and sensors (rain/freeze); each controller must be labeled with installers name and company name, license number, telephone number and warranty period. Check location and water emission devices, valves (zone, master, and isolation). Check all underground wiring for UL burial rating and sizing to manufacturers specifications; all wire splices must be moisture proof. All wiring is buried min. 6 inches. Check PVC piping for sizing, rating, installation and depth (min. 6 inches). Pop up water emission devices must be installed a min. 4 inches from hardscape and direct flow away.
