Irrigation Inspection Checklist

Approved back flow prevention device required with y strainer installed before device. Full port ball type isolation valve between meter and back flow device. Test cocks on B/F device are to be plugged with threaded plugs. Installed min. 3 ft. from water service on customer side of property line. Master valve (if required) installed on discharge side of B/F device (full port ball type valve). Check location of controllers and sensors (rain/freeze); each controller must be labeled with installers name and company name, license number, telephone number and warranty period.
