UFSC TORONTO 2012 INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE - Toronto, Ontario June 20 to 24

The theme of our conference, Borderless Future, Boundless Opportunities will prepare members for changes in the industry, to embrace a global mindset and to emerge as a next generation leader in financial services. UFSC Toronto will deliver the most relevant slate of programming for our audiences. Our conference discussions will have a strong focus on the important role that globalization and financial services will play in our commmunity. Our audience will include:
Financial Services Professionals Talks will focus on the future of the Canada-US cross-border financial services industry economic outlooks, regulatory developments and thriving in a changed global economy. Messages will inform and inspire our professionals to aspire to their full potential while giving back. Small Business Entrepreneurs Entrepreneur attendees will benefit from a conference that enables them to network and benefit from the expertise of financial services professionals. They will leave as informed members of the community with a network and resources needed to not only run a sustainable business, but one that is thriving. Community Outreach Raising the economic condition of a community is no small task, but it is the resolve of UFSC Toronto to raise awareness and affect change. Empowering our community begins with education and community attendees will leave with the knowledge and tools required for a fighting chance at change.

About UFSC Toronto

A community based non-profit organization primarily comprised of Black and visible minority financial services professionals. Our members and attendees represent recent graduates to executives, the majority span in ages 22-30 years old with 5 years of work experience. Our events and operations are underpinned by four key pillars: Professional Development Networking & Mentorship Community Outreach Financial Literacy Our fluently bi-cultural members, speaking the language of businesss and the community, aim to inspire awareness and encourage youth to consider financial services as a viable career option. Our events provide opportunities to network and develop leadership skills.

A good conference is framed on programming and clad in execution, but an excellent conference is built on a foundation of engaged, inspiring, informed and empowering speakers. THE ASK Your remarks as either a keynote speaker, session speaker, panelist, or workshop facilitator would provide the important foundation we need to deliver a tranformational experience to our delegates. Formal Programming will take place Thursday, June 21 to Saturday June 23 with a closing inspirational address on Sunday, June 24.
