Present System This software is designed to maintain record of metro fare and parking fare.

Mai ntaining the records was a tiresome job moreover the records due to some or the other reasons got lost. It was really difficult to maintain the records.. In the present system all work is done on paper. The whole parking record is st ored in papers. Therefore it becomes difficult to maintain each and every record . Disadvantages Not User Friendly: The existing system is not user friendly because the retrieva l of data is very slow and data is not maintained efficiently. Difficulty in report generating: We require more calculations to generate the re port so it is generated at the end of the session. Manual control: All calculations to generate report is done manually so there is greater chance of errors.

Lots of paperwork: Existing system requires lot of paper work. Loss of even a si ngle record can led to difficult situation because all the papers are needed to generate the reports. Time consuming: Every work is done manually so we cannot generate report in the middle of the session or as per the requirement because it is very time consumin g.

Solution to the probl em To overcome the above mentioned problem we have designed a system to overcome th e problem of record maintainence. Here the records are maintained accurately .I n this system no one can misuse or change the records so there is no point of wrong login or logout time. Moreover the records can be copied to a secondary s torage media. This software provides an easy to use User Interface. System devel oped in the project is user friendly. The system developed is easy to operate an d itself directs at itself directs at each steps to user to select the desired w orking. Proper messages are displayed to guide the user and each option is supported wit h a program so that user can work on that option until his choice is yes. Thus t ime is saved, due to sophisticated program. It is easy for the user to operate o n the present system.

1.4.: Feasibility study Feasibility studies aim to objectively and rationally uncover the strengths and weaknesses of the existing business or proposed venture, opportunities and threa ts as presented by the environment, the resources required to carry through, and ultimately the prospects for success. Economically Feasibility: The system being developed is economic with respect to metros point of view. It i s cost effective in the sense that has eliminated the paper work completely. The system is also time effective because the calculations are automated which are made on the regular basis or as per the user requirement. The result obtained contains minimum errors and are highly accurate as the data is required.

HARDWARE: Feasibility analysis in case of hardware is too seeing whether the required hard ware for the proposed method is available or not. If yes then installation is fe asible. Generally Ms Access installation requires: A Micro Computer Main Memory, 64MB(min) Hard Disk Capacity 1.2GB(min) Computer based on Pentium processor Hard disk space 128MB (or higher) on WIN NT Mouse Printer All this required hardware is easily available in the market & is not very expen sive therefore, the proposed system (according to problem definition & system an alysis) is feasible as for as hardware requirement is concerned.

SOFTWARE: There is no special system software requirement for the package (Attendance Mana gement System) but to run this we need this software Window Operating System XP Microsoft Visual Basic (Language) Microsoft Access (Database)
