ITINERARY
Day 1 Arrival in Rome Upon exiting your arrival gate at Leonardo da Vinci Airport, your private, English-speaking driver will be waiting for you, to take you to your suite, in a centrally-located, 5-star hotel in Rome. The rest of the day if free for you to do as you please. Day 2 Roman Walk There's no better place to be in love than the Eternal City. Ah yes, it certainly seems that love lurks behind every street corner, park bench, and monument. And if you don't find the abundance of public displays of affection off-putting, you'll be sure to find scores of places to steal both that first and ultimo bacio. You will start your rendezvous through Rome with a horse-drawn carriage ride that begins at the Spanish Steps (Piazza di Spagna) and continues through the streets of the centro storico. Make a stop for some aphrodisiacal treats, such as the decadent, mouth-watering chocolates made by Moriondo e Gariglio (Via Pi di Marmo 21), off the central Corso near Palazzo Doria Pamphilj. When you're through, ask the driver to drop you off at the famous Villa Borghese Park. Whether it's a picnic in the park, a cruise on the lake, or just a hand-in-hand stroll up to the Pinciothe park's terrace that boasts the city's most breathtaking viewsyou will find amore everywhere. Back to the hotel, to relax at your leisure. Day 3 Vatican Tour This morning you will meet your English-speaking guide for your half-day, private tour of the Vatican, which includes the Sistine Chapel and the Vatican

Museums. Our guide is a Roman-born expert in all things Roman, and you will appreciate her vast knowledge.

Day 4 Ancient Rome Tour This morning, you will meet with your private, English-speaking guide, who has a vast experience in the business and will enhance your knowledge of Romes wonderful heritage. This half-day excursion will allow you to walk the roads once traveled by the old Romans. You will visit parts of Ancient Rome such as the Coliseum and the Pantheon. Day 5 Positano This morning, after breakfast and check-out, you will be met by your private, English-speaking driver, who will transfer you to Positano. Before arriving there, you will enjoy a breath-taking drive along the Amalfi coast, with stops in Amalfi and Ravello. In Positano, you will be driven to your suite at your 5star hotel. According to the legend, Positano was founded by a group of inhabitants from Paestum who were escaping from the attack of some Saracens (pirates of the time). The town of Positano is located in one of the most beautiful valleys of the Amalfi Coast, and the valley opens up to an equally magnificent stretch of coastline. At the center of town you can see the brightly colored "maiolica" dome of Santa Maria Assunta, the main church of Positano. As well as completing the picturesque view of this Southern Italian town, the church is also a very important part of daily life, for many local inhabitants of Positano. Inside, the church features a collection of intriguing works of art from the XIII, and XVI century that are well worth visiting. Positano has a very glamorous side to it, because of the famous "Positano fashion style", this is just one of the many reasons that tourists from all over the world flock to the pathways, and boutiques of Positano each summer. With its beauty, luxurious hotels, bars, restaurants, and shops, Positano is surely a perfect place to discover the Amalfi Coast. Day 6 Private Cruise Your own boat is waiting for you at the docks of Positano. Board it and enjoy this private cruise around the coast that you admired from higher up yesterday. Stop in the emerald Isle of Capri for a walk in the Piazzetta, shop in the local boutiques, and have lunch in a quaint restaurant, before returning to the boat and then to your hotel in Positano. Day 7 Florence via Umbria

After breakfast and check-out, meet your driver for your transfer to Florence. Frequent stops along the way, will allow you to savour the beautiful landscaping of Umbria and Tuscany. One of these stops will let you savour a typical Tuscan lunch and allow you to taste some of the wines that have made Tuscany a mecca for wine connoisseurs. In Florence, you will be taken to your 5-star hotel, where a wonderful suite is waiting for you. Enjoy the rest of the day on your own.

Day 8 Florence in Style Meet at the lobby for your Horse and Carriage tour (approximately 1 hour). This is the most romantic way to explore Florence. You will enjoy the narrow streets of the city centre, the romantic river banks, and pass by some major sites, such as the Cathedral, Piazza Signoria and Santa Croce. An extra Italian taste is provided on board with a complimentary bottle of Tuscan wine that you will be enjoying while admiring Florence from this advantageous point of view. If you are up to it, this afternoon we suggest a Hot Air Balloon riding over Chianti (weather permitting). Upon returning to your hotel, you have the rest of the day at leisure. Day 9 Florence A full day on your own, to do as you wish, or we may suggest further tours, if so desired. Day 10 - Venice Your driver will meet you in the lobby for your transfer to Venice. In Venice, you will stay in a suite at a 5-star hotel. When the sun sets Venice becomes magical, and a walk through her street is something to behold. For this evening tour, your guide will meet you in the hotel lobby before dinner. Walk in the twilight to the historical centre, St. Marks Square, and then through dimly-lit streets to the Rialto Bridge, the former trading centre, and finish by taking a ride in a private water-taxi on the Grand Canal back to St. Marks Square. Free for dinner and the rest of the day. Day 11 Gondola Gran Canal Cruise Today, we suggest a truly unique and magical guided tour of Venices waterways; you will be guaranteed the best and most breathtaking views of Venice possible. Our expert, English-speaking guide will meet you at your hotel, from where you will be steered in style by your own personal gondolier on to the incomparable Grand Canal. Passing through centuries of history and stunning Palazzos, each with their own story to tell, you will glide effortlessly along one of the most, beautiful and elegant high streets in the world. All you need to do is sit back, relax with a glass of Bucks Fizz (Mimosa), and take in the surroundings while our informative guide entertains you with stories and anecdotes of the city, explaining the history behind La Serenissima and

her array of stunning palaces. The tour will take you under the Accademia Bridge and the Peggy Guggenheim museum from where you will hear about the many characters that Venice has played host to. You will also discover the secrets of the Venetians, the traghetto for example and the tales behind the gondola itself. Turning into another of Venices scenic side canals, you will not only be able to enjoy the splendour of the Canal Grande but also the quaint charm of the smaller, more residential areas too - real Venice. Winding your way back past the Gondola building yard (Squero) and Palazzo Grimani, this is the perfect way to appreciate the beauty and charm of the city built on water. Day 12 Shakespeares Verona Your private drivers will take you to the city of Verona today, where a suite at a 5-star hotel is waiting for you. After checking in and refreshing, you will be met in the lobby by your guide for a half-day, guided walking tour. In a new way of visiting Verona, between legend and reality, your guide, dressed in an ancient costume, will narrate Romeo and Juliet's drama and will show the main monuments and churches of the centre, in addition to the main sites related to Romeo and Juliet's story. On the way there will be some stops where some scenes taken from Shakespeare's Tragedy will take place. For dinner, you will be a guest of Giancarlo Gioco's restaurant, which means to be a guest of history. The restaurant is near one of the most romantic places in the world: Juliet's balcony, with Romeo's house just next to it. This place, favoured by gourmands, is full of history itself. During the evening some actors, dressed with ancient costumes, play some scenes taken from Shakespeare's tragedy. Day 13 Verona A full day on your own, to do as you wish, or we may suggest further tours, if so desired. Day 14 Cernobbio (Lake Como) Your driver will transfer you to Lake Como this morning. On your way to your 5-star hotel, you will enjoy brief stops along the way, to admire the breathtaking views this lake has to offer. Once at your hotel, you will be free to enjoy your time at leisure. Day 15 Lake Como A full day tour of the lake will take you to a number of small, picturesque towns along the lake: Bellagio, then across the lake via ferry to Menaggio, Tremezzo, Ossuccio, Bienno, Laglio, Cernobbio and Como. Lunch in a typical restaurant along the way and a brief tour of Como will end this marvelous experience.

Day 16 Lake Como We suggest that today you relax and take in the beauty that this hotel offers. Walk around the town, enjoy a drink, or just relax in a chair facing the lake. Its up to you. Day 17 - Milan After a brief transfer, you will arrive in Milan and check into your suite at a 5star hotel in this city. Milan is the financial centre of Italy, as well as a hub of fashion and art. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Day 18 Milan Today is a day on your own, in which you might want to explore Milan. Among the places not to be missed are the Duomo, the Galleria, the Brera District and a viewing of Leonardos Last Supper. As well, do not miss the Quadrilatero dOro (the Golden Quadrilateral), bound by Via Montenapoleone, Via della Spiga, Via Borgospesso, and Via Sant'Andrea, and lined with Milan's most expensive high-fashion emporia. For more Milanese shopping, cruise wide Corso Buenos Aires, home to a little bit of everything, from shops that hand-sew men's dress shirts to CD megastores. Day 19 - Departure After breakfast and check-out, our driver will take you to Milans Malpensa Airport to catch your flight home.
