Product Overview
Quidway Eudemon200E series unified security gateway (hereinafter referred as the Eudemon200E) is a new generation of multi-function security gateway launched by Huawei to meet the requirements of small and medium-sized enterprises, branches of large enterprises, small office and home office (SOHO) users, and Internet bars for security services. Adopting the modularized design, the Eudemon200E integrates multiple features such as security, routing, switching, and wireless (WiFi and 3G) features. The Eudemon200E provides diversified interfaces. With industry-leading performance, the Eudemon200E delivers sound security protection for small and medium-sized enterprises, branches of large enterprises, SOHO users, and Internet bars. In addition, the Eudemon200E provides an integrated network egress security and internetworking solution, which helps enterprises decrease Total cost of ownership (TCO) and increase production efficiency. The Eudemon200E, as a security protection device, is an ideal option for small and medium-sized enterprise network customers.

Product Series
Eudemon200E-B: provides one fixed 10/100M interface for Untrust zone, eight fixed 10/100M interfaces for Trust zone, and one Mini Interface Card (MIC) expansion slot that can flexibly house wide area network (WAN) or local area network (LAN) interface card. The Eudemon200E-B integrates the functions of firewall, virtual private network (VPN), security router, and security switch, featuring modularized architecture, WiFi access, routing function, switching function. The Eudemon200E-B also supports an Express interface, which can be used as an expansion 3G interface card. Eudemon200E-C/-F: provides two fixed Combo GE interfaces. Eudemon200E-C/-F integrates the functions of firewall, security router, and security switch, featuring modular architecture, and high performance of up to several hundred megabits per second.

Industry-First Security Gateway Integrating Routing, Switching, Security, and Wireless (WiFi and 3G) Functions
The Eudemon200E integrates the routing, switching, security, and wireless (WiFi and 3G) functions. One Eudemon200E can function as multiple traditional routers, multiple traditional switches, and multiple traditional firewalls, effectively helping enterprise customers increase production efficiency, decrease maintenance complexity, and reduce TCO.

The Eudemon200E supports WLAN WiFi (802.11b, 802.11g, or 802.11g/b), automatic rate adaptation, wireless channel selection, transmit power control, encryption, broadcast suppression, hidden service set identifier (SSID), battery saving mode, and management maintenance. In addition, the Eudemon200E supports encrypted WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK, WEP, AES, and TKIP. The Eudemon200E provides two omni-directional antennas to realize antenna gain. The Eudemon200E-B can access the wireless network through the expansion Express 3G interface card. The Eudemon200E-B supports 2G to 3G data transmission mode. The transmission mode of the Eudemon200E-B is compatible with HSDPA/ WCDMA 2100M/1900M/850M and GSM/GRPS/EDGE 1900M/1800M/900M/850M.

Diversified Interface Types, High Interface Density, and Flexible Networking Capabilities
Besides one fixed 100M WAN interface and eight fixed 100M LAN interface, the Eudemon200E-B provides one expansion slot, which can house different interface cards such as 1FE, 1E1/CE1, 5FE, and 1ADSL2+. The Eudemon200E-B also provides one 3G Express interface; therefore, the interface density of the Eudemon200E-B can be up to 14FE. Besides two fixed Combo GE WAN interfaces, the Eudemon200EC/-F provides four MIC expansion slots and two FIC expansion slots, which can house 1GE or 2E1/CE1 interface card. The interface density of the whole system can be up to 4GE + 10FE, which offers great flexibility in networking applications and can meet customers' requirements for different network application scenarios.

Diversified VPN Technologies

The Eudemon200E supports multiple VPN networking technologies such as the Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol (L2TP), Generic Routing Encapsulation (GRE), and IPSec. This provides great flexibilities for customers. Based on the technical experience and accumulation of Huawei in hardware and chip development, the Eudemon200E adopts the built-in high-performance hardware encryption and decryption chip, which supports multiple encryption algorithms such as the Data Encryption Standard (DES), Triple DES (3DES), Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), Revest-Shamir-Adleman (RSA), and SCB2.
