OVERVIEW
THE BUFFALO STO R Y C E N T E R

will be T H E place to go to find out all that the city has to

offer, and to discover how Buffalo came to be, the forces that shaped Buffalo today, and the possibilities for Buffalos future. Located at the center of the Historic Canal District at Canal Side, and adjacent to the Erie Canals sacred Western Terminus, it marks the significance of Buffalos maritime heritage while celebrating its present and future. The Buffalo Story Center will be a welcome center for Canal Side and a first stop gateway information hub for all attractions in Buffalo and the region.

DEVELOPED in collaboration with the Cultural Steering Committee, the Center will be by,

for, about and designed with the Buffalo community. It will serve as a must-see, must-do destination attraction for Canal Side. The Buffalo Story Center will become a vibrant yearround waterfront hub for changing activities, special events and multimedia presentations that will delight all visitors, including tourists, school groups, families and young adults. Visitors of all ages and interests will find both an entertaining and informative experience that is also affordable but most of all, that is authentically Buffalo!
