transgress not against their appointed order. 9ehold !e the earth, and gi e heed to the things which ta"e place upon it fro# first to last, how steadfast the! are, how none of the things upon earth

change, but all the wor"s of %od appear to !ou. 9ehold the su##er and the winter, how the whole earth is filled with water, and clouds and dew and rain lie upon it.

$nd again, obser e !e the da!s of su##er how the sun is abo e the earth o er against it. $nd !ou see" shade and shelter b! reason of the heat of the sun, and the earth also burns with glowing heat, and so !ou cannot tread on the earth, or on a roc" b! reason of its heat.
