SUMMERY OF SKILLS: More than seventeen years of accumulated experience in board level design in the following categories: DSP based motor controller, Switching power supply, PBX/Telephony modules and high volume consumer products. EXPERIENCE: 2007 a" 2010 Marotta Controls, Inc., Montville, NJ Senior Electronics Engineer * Lead the design of an 800W DC sensorless BLDC 3-phase motor controller for the US Air Force. * Designed and tested a Super Cap backed-up solenoid controller (1 hour backup) for the Navy. * Specified, tested and approved a Test set-up for a 6KW BLDC 3-phase motor cont roller. * Interfaced with manufacturing on all production issues. * Performed failure and root cause analysis on returned failed units and produce d a corrective action.

2005 a" 2007 Transistor Devices, Inc., Cedar Knolls, NJ Power Supply Engineer * Modified tested and debugged 6KW and 3KW multi-output air-borne Power Supplies . * Carried out EMI, Emission and Susceptibility, and Environmental tests. * Transitioned the prototypes with final documentation and training to productio n. 2000 a" 2005 Avaya Inc., Lincroft, NJ Hardware Engineer, MTS * Designed a T1 module for a small PBX. * Produced the hardware architecture document, generated schematics, worked w/EI D to layout the board, debugged/integrated engineering samples with the firmware , passed the regulatory and internal tests, wrote test plans and approved tool m ade samples. * Designed and debugged a C.O. Trunk module for a Key System. * Cost reduced different trunk modules. (Obsolete parts) * Tested and approved various tool made samples. * Diagnosed issues with the Partner and Magix PBXs in some beta sites. 1998 - 2000 Lucent Technologies Consumer Products, Eatontown, NJ Electrical Engineer, MTS * Designed Base Band circuitry for a 900 MHz digital cordless phone with Speaker phone and CID, Spread Spectrum Frequency * Modified a battery charging circuitry for 900 MHz phones, improving their batt ery life and providing a charge at brownouts. * Developed a line interface and a switching power supply for an Internet Phone complying with European requirements.

* Teamed part in design, testing and bringing to production a basic 900 MHz digi tal platform. * Participated in design and development of an international line interface plat form.

1995 - 1998 Transistor Devices, Inc., Cedar Knolls, NJ Power Supply Engineer * Developed custom high power (6KW, 15KW) DC/DC converters, single and 3 Phase D C/AC and AC/AC military and industrial inverters, including all stages, starting from specifications through circuit design and simulation, testing, debugging, verification to transfer and handshake with production. The above units (racks a nd modules) had tight regulation, fast response to load change, output short cir cuit protection, input high/low limits and thermal protection. * Designed low power ultra precision adjustable power supply with very tight loa d and line regulation (0.01%), and low output drift. 1993 - 1995 L & R Manufacturing, Kearny, NJ Project Engineer * Designed new generation of switchers for use in ultrasonic cleaners, ranging f rom 50 a"500 Watt at frequencies 40 a" 80 kHz. * Carried the concept through design and prototypes to production. * Implemented the Flyback, Half and Full Bridge topologies, utilizing Current an d Voltage modes PWM Technologies. * Generated product specifications for ultrasonic cleaners. 1986 - 1993 Measurement Specialties, Inc., Fairfield, NJ Project Engineer * Designed electronic circuitry, built prototypes and troubleshot circuit boards . * Major projects included: Tri-axial acceleration data recorder, Ultrasonic Dist ance measuring device, Thermometer for hospital use, Airbag electronic Pressure switch and Industrial transmitters. * Developed and patented variable speed switch for cordless devices. * Reduced high volume low end product costs through circuit redesign and compone nt selections. * Interfaced with manufacturing in Hong Kong and raised the production yields on the bathroom scale from 35% to 97%.
